Wow I was funny back in 2005.
Yeah, talk about a fading star!

I remember strongly warning everyone about that AC meet, and heavily deriding the idea.

I had a dream last night that everyone showed up at my house, but all I can remember thinking through the whole thing was that it was ridiculous since I didn't know anyone in real life. The weird part was I knew who everyone was, but no one had a face.

I've had some lame dreams lately. One where I was watching a baseball game, and one TV announcer was talking about a pitcher who was recently arrested for beating his wife. The other announcer didn't want to talk about it. They then sat there in awkward silence for several minutes while the dream continued without anything happening at all.

the REAL ac meet was one of the best times i've ever had.

i once had a dream that i was at my uncle's house. there was a zombie outbreak, and i went on the back porch to choose a sword. there was a complex orangeo one and another that looks like clouds sword from advent children (this was a few years ago, befroe AC). then my cousin mike turned into a zombie and the first hlaf ended. the second half i was in a large building, wide but only about one room thick. it was i think like 3 stories, but with no other floors. the fron of the building was a giant window with venetian blinds. there was a desk in the right hand side, and a plant and a fake plastic computer on the desk. the left hand side of the room was a 6 in deep pool. there were about 2 steps leading up to this pool. i looked through the blinds and saw a mass horde of zombies coming at me. i tried to close the blinds but it didnt relly help. the zombies got in, and i threw the potted plant and fake computer at them to keep them at bay. they still came at me, and at the head of the mob was my pal alex. i asked hiim as he attacked,
"are you a zombie or a vampire?"
    to which he replied
"id doent matter, im gonna eat you anyway!" in the voice of a good freind, inviting me into this unholy non-life. the zombies were all grey, like a bluish grey, and that's how i knew they were zombies. just as alex was about to attack me, the camera (i say camera because this dream was intensely cinematic, as are most of my dreams) pulled back, through the roof, far into the sky, so you could see the building i was in (red) and some other place (blue). the camera then zoomed down into the blue place, which was a baseball diamond. there is a large waivy-haired japanese baseball player at bat, named "akamatsu".the pitcher pitches the ball and akamatsu hits it, and the camera switches to a ball's eye view. the ball flies toward the spectators, and i was apprehensive that the great akamatsu had gone over to the dark side. however, as the ball sped into the adience, you see the face of a ghoul appear and the screen goes black just as the ball is about to hit the ghoul's face. iw as left with a sense of hope.
    then i woke up.

    fixed.

And yes, I know S_O. Your words of warning about sitting alone or possibly sharing an awkward silence in a dark hotel room with one or two other people were almost prophetic.

I wasn't at either of them, so the AC meets clearly could never have happened.

EDIT: This is relevant because the "AC meets" were obviously dreams.

It seemed like fun. I looked at the photos with envy, envy!
I predict that Ontario will collapse under tons of coolness when all the BFFLOL people will be reunited at Sheridan.

The true irony is that the second meet happened within driving distance of my place (I believe gibs went which would have meant I could go easily enough) but I was working at EA in Vancouver at the time and could not make it.

Anyway, I had a creepy dream last night about the character from V for Vindetta hiding in some water and killing people in slow motion as they walked by with some wicked long knives... I was trying to keep my friends away from the water... I don't remember much else, but it was unsettling.

I have actually had several horrible terrorism related dreams recently. Most likely cause I'm back from college (granted for over a year) and working and living in DC (as is my girlfrind, mother, and father) mixed with the increasing instability in the Middle East. Most of them involve a dirty bomb, or more planes into buildings, or conventional bombs, or subway/bus attacks (both of which I take to work).

Sorry to be a downer, but there is really nothing funny I can think of to save this post... people from DC and NYC talk about how you just have to live with it, be prepared, and get by without it turining you into a paranoid, stressed out, wreck. It's not like it's something that dominates my every waking moment, I hardly think about it on the bus to work (when one might assume it would cross the mind), or any other time really. I think the dreams do point to a general underlying anxiety.

Hopefully tonight I will have a dream about how to properly marinate an olive, or going to a Blind Melon concert then realize half way through it's a dream cause that guy totally overdosed like 5 years ago... one can only hope.

I'd go to a BFFLOL meet if you guys promise we get to do cool stuff like take pictures of birds and zoo signs.

I had a dream last night that I met an old homeless woman who told me about her homeless adventures. They were really exciting and involved lots of jungles and ancient pyramids, and after each adventure she would give everyone blowjobs. I asked her for a blowjob but she said no.

I also dreamed I bought a "7-Up car". A car manufactured by the 7-Up company, painted green with the 7-Up logo all over it, with really tacky yellow plastic rims and accents. I thought it would be rad, but when I got in to drive it, the interior was incredibly cheap and poorly constructed. It handled like a piece of shit. I was really disappointed and couldn't take it back. It cost $30,000.

That would be great. I remember Cheerful (is he still in Italy?) told me it was suppose to be in August, but it was right when school started for me, so I wouldn't have been able to make it.

If it's after Christmas, I don't think there would be any problems, and I'll be glad to be there. Last time, it seemed like you had a lot of fun, so I'd like to be there this time around if I'm able to. |mediumsmile

Yeah, I wanted to go to the August one, but there was no way I could. I'm just glad I'm not missing out on all the fun.

I just hope I can make the after christmas one. My school gives us shitty holidays. A week off for christmas.

Alyce: Only one week? That sucks. |sad
We almost have a month of break for the holidays (well, 3 weeks to be exact). There's also a week-off during the month of March.

As for dreams, I can't seem to remember them much these past weeks. The last one I remember involves me being left behind by everyone I know, being the only living soul in my city. Nothing much happened in that dream. I hpe I'll be back with the "cool amazing and weird dreams" I usually have.

    S_O: a 7-Up car? |chuckle Awesome!

All you guys suck with your awesome breaks. I also only have a week off for easter holidays, which is usually consumed by family stuff.

I fear that I won't hang out with you guys until Sheridan

You put your family before your Internet friends? You really need to reorganize your priorities in life!

I think...when I go visit Sheridan on the 24th, you guys should all "happen" to be there. You know, like a "Fancy meeting you here. This is totally unexpected." type thing. Eh eh?

Any of you ever have Photoshop dreams? Cuz I once saw in a dream how to make this cool effect I was trying to figure out how to do.

I haven't had a Photoshop dream, but I have had a few game related dreams.

Back when I played DDR, I had a dream that the arrows were chasing me down, and I had to step on them to kill them. I remember moving so fast that all my limbs flew off.
