Ugh... I've created such a confusing world. Do you mean to get the ladder (which is right here,) and take it down this way?
This is not technically an image of the game, but a OOC aside

Yes. Thats what I want to do.
I have the vague suspicion that, since he's not quite getting these commands, the ladder doesn't matter in the slightest.
But you kinda have a point.
I'm pretty sure you're about to die, anyway.
The Inverted Stairs will lead you out a Hole in the floor of Giantspace...
Except you're upside-down, so the Floor is now the Ceiling.
That's a long fall.
I submit this instead:
> Return to Safe Room.
> Take Ladder all the way through Shrink Cycle/Reversal, grabbing the Fork along the way. (Ya never know...)
That should do it...
...But it's probably just me.
The Magician | The Chariot | The Hermit | The World || The Moon || The Deck
>Take ladder through upside-down stairway
*You have died.
***GAME RECOVERED*** (from most recent random autosave)
> Get ladder, become small WHILE HOLDING LADDER (grabbing the Fork along the way.)
You grab the fork through the small/big hangar door, then carry it and the ladder around the hangar loop to shrink.
> Go upside down while still holding ladder
You carry the ladder through the paper-tunnel, through the hole in the wall, and down the short-room staircase.
> Use ladder to reach West (When in normal gravity) door in pillar room
You lean the ladder up against the door frame, and climb up...
You remember an idea you once had about pulling the ladder through the door with you, but you accidentally fall, leaving the ladder in the pillar room!
***AUTOSAVE***
...shit. No going back now.

Sorry if I've become a little lazy with the art (copy/pasting the same standing and walking pics)... I'm resting up for the finale. I'm probably going to use some animation.
If anyone knows of any (free) mac-compatible or web-based programs that can make animated gifs, your help would be greatly appreciated.

lvl: 5
Fastness: 6
Ouch: 1 (Equipped: lvl 9 Glowing Sword)
Toughitude: 16
Motivation: For the Nookie <change>
Loose Stat Points: 5 <apply to: Fastness/Ouch/Toughitude>
Carrying: Simple Key, $6, Ornate Key, Glowing Sword, Poorly-Drawn Fork
> Examine Pit.
Uncovered Grating
Like you discovered before, this thing is DARK. Unnaturally so, as if light isn't just absorbed by its interior, but destroyed. The grating itself seems to undo that effect, so that you didn't notice the darkness while it was covered.
> De(A?)scend.
STOP! A strong pressure prevents you from putting any part of your body over the hole. You cannot exit the building without applying any remaining Loose Stat Points!
I'm going to divide up the labor here: Any one person can choose to apply one point to whatever they want.

We need more Fastness and Toughitud, we don't need ouch since we have the glowing sword!
+1 Fastness
No current running adventures from now on to the eternity.
I've always preferred DPS to Tankage, so I would go with Fastness, but I remember those Missles...
> +1 Toughitude
...But it's probably just me.
The Magician | The Chariot | The Hermit | The World || The Moon || The Deck
There was actually a way to beat the MYC without upgrading Toughitude at all. There were three ways: Toughitudening up then healing after each attack, getting in an really strong first strike, or being tough enough to take the first hit and fast enough to kill him before his second shot. You guys went with the latter.Originally Posted by Not The Author

Still. It never hurt to not die. :P
Also, I'm trying to take into consideration:
FINAL
BOSSES
ARE
HARD
...But it's probably just me.

Plus, you'll have to beat all 19 forms in one go, or you'll have to start from putting the bowling ball on the pillar again.Originally Posted by Not The Author

Well, I'm not going to be working on this again until tomorrow morning, so hopefully by then the other three points will be applied. Currently you're at:
lvl: 5
Fastness: 7
Ouch: 1 (Equipped: lvl 9 Glowing Sword)
Toughitude: 17
Loose stat points: 3
You started the game with:
lvl: 3
Fastness: 4
Ouch: 0
Toughitude: 10

You already killed the Dog!
...Seriously, though, people: if I wake up in the morning and find that there's not three more points applied, no more Purpose Quest for you!

Don't make me hafta do this all by myself.
<- I will invoke this if I have to!
Although, keep in mind if you're going to bed, other people probably are too.

Nah, it's 4 in the afternoon here in western US, and on the east coast it's still only 7. I just intend to be away from my computer for the rest of the day. I figure there should be enough people on here at least long enough to post one suggestion between now and 18 hours from now.Originally Posted by Not The Author

Fixed, and that was actually from a quote of you...

Upgrade fastness.
I have a feeling we can't win without getting the first strike.
