While I understand that slogging through 73 pages of forum posts to read a story some guy made on the internet is one of life's finer pleasures, some of you may not have the hours necessary to undertake this task. For those people, I highly recommend DOWNLOADING THE COMPILATION CHECKING OUT THE MIRROR. It extracts every single story related post, skips all the forum banter, and wraps it all up into a nice, easy to read 12-chapter HTML document with a table of contents and everything.

Special and boundless thanks go to forum member memnarch who really did the vast majority of the work here. Actually, let me explain exactly how awesome he is.

I had been planning to make this compilation back in mid-June when the story ended. I worked on it for about a month in my free time. It was extremely tedious, sifting through over 550 images and all these forum pages, copying and pasting every word, every quote, every image, and formatting them into this HTML table I had created in notepad. After barely making a dent in the whole mess after all that time, I gave up and moved on to another project.

Well, I happened to mention this lack of progress in another thread. Cue memnarch. He asked me to send him what I had already done. I explained exactly how difficult the work would be, and made it clear that he was under no obligation to complete the thing, but sent it to him nonetheless.

Less than two weeks later, he sends the thing back. Completely finished. Every image, every quote, every word, copied flawlessly and formatted in exactly the same style. It was like I handed him a blueprint, pointed him in the direction of a quarry, and two weeks later I had a castle. So let's hear it for memnarch! Send him some thanks or something if you liked this. Maybe some cake. I'll bet he'd like some cake.

OH! I'm really sorry, guys! I totally forgot my mom was going to do the whole "summon spectral advisors" thing while I was sleeping tonight. Man, this is embarrassing. I hope I didn't scare you off.

I'm supposed to, like, think about what's going on, and you'll help me think of solutions, right? Sorry, I've never had this spell used on me before. Okay, so my name's Alanna, and I'm turning 18 today! I'm also moving out of my house for college tomorrow, but first my mom and I are gonna go to Puzzland! It's this really cool place where a bunch of people get locked in rooms with puzzles they have to figure out to get to the next room, with cash prizes when you win. That's why my mom cast this spell, she thought it'd give me...er, us, an edge, and I could get some college money.

Haha! Awesome. I'm glad you spectral advisors have a sense of humor. Seriously though, I can hear her downstairs.

My mom's a really awesome spellcaster. She's probably the best there is at conjuring stuff, and she's not bad at other magic stuff either. She said I had a lot of magical potential, but I'd rather be an architect, and she's cool with that.
