"I just did what I always do, watched the cameras. If I had seen anything suspicious I would of set off the alarm, but I didn't. By the time I had noticed anything wrong it was a bit too late."

"I know someone tampered with the cameras, but i need to check the tapes to find out when."

"Yes there was a photo of the scene directly infront of the camera over looking the sword."

"Jeez i never even knew. It would explain how still that camera was."

"Well...I dunno, maybe? Look i'm just one guy you can't expect me to keep track of all these people and all these cameras, maybe if I checked the tapes but that would take a long time."

I am in far too deep. I'm used to solving petty squables between partners, small robberies for pointless jewelry. But this? This is something the Police should be handling, not me.



I mean, I've always wanted this. To solve something big. To actually make a difference in this god forsaken city. But it's been so long since I started, I ain't the kid I once was.



Sure those small time squables are dull, but they bring home money and are alot easier to do than this.



*Sigh* Maybe I should drop the case. I'm sure Lakeson will understand, theres tons of detectives out there. Besides it wasn't like I was gonna solve this case anywa-
