Drive into the dillards on the other side of the mall, and then run up to the furniture section and hide while you plot your next move (which logically means shootout)
get in a good defensive position and don't let anyone get near Fran.
You scramble to get the shotgun and rifle from the back seat. Fran has her eyes closed, but she mutters a drowsy "mmm hmm," when you say "wish me luck."
You exit the car and assess the situation. You know you have to get far enough away from the car to avoid any stray bullets hitting Fran. You still want to be able to cover her, though, so you cross over to the shop across from the one where you beached your car. It's a clothing store, and the counter looks like it'll provide very sturdy cover. You hear a car engine getting closer, and you drop the rifle on the counter and move forward, readying the shotgun. The engine noise gets louder, and finally the SUV rounds the corner. You take aim at the driver, but fail to lead your shot, and the blast hits the rear tire, sending the vehicle fishtailing out of control. It grinds to a stop, and the driver and passenger scramble to climb out the door on the side opposite you. You pump the shotgun and fire again, shattering the driver's side window, but both men make in out, crouching behind the tires. You can't see much of them, but it's probably safe to assume they're armed.
What will you do now?
Man, just start shooting like crazy. It's a good time for a.

Feeling exposed where you are, you retreat to behind the counter, taking the rifle with you. Your mind races as you try to decide what to do next. Your thoughts are interrupted my a shout from one of the men by the SUV.
"Come on, kid. You're not going to get us all. Just surrender and stop all this nonsense." The man's voice isn't as confident as he'd probably like. You consider it unlikely that many of George's crew are as scary as Spike. Probably just normal people who have never fought in their lives.
"I'm not going to surrender!" you shout, buying time. You peak over the counter to try and see more, but they're not showing themselves. You glance around, looking for anything that might be useful. There are thick racks of clothes that could hide you movements, and display case full of perfume and jewelry. You think you can hear whispered conversation from the other two men, but you can't make out what they're saying.
What will you do now?
>Yell "I hope that car is grenade proof!" Then throw something heavy that hopefully won't break. Shoot near them when they freak out and run.
>"DAMMIT THIS IS STUPID I ALREADY KILLED ONE GUY BECAUSE OF YOUR STUPIDITY JUST LEAVE ME ALONE ALREADY!"
Then do what Gustave said.
Moon them braveheart style
Try to shoot the gas tank!

Let's just use ALL the above suggestions. Except for the running away one. Okay, not the mooning one, either.
You grab a particularly heavy looking, baseball-sized bottle of perfume and heft it in your hand. Yes, that'll do nicely. "Why the hell are you doing this, you dumbasses? I don't want to have to hurt any more of you, but I swear to hell I will!"
"You're leaving here with us, or else we'll leave you here," the man shouts back. "Dead," he adds, lamely.
"Alright then!" you shout back, taking out your pistol. "I hope your car is grenade proof!" You heave the perfume at the SUV, then open up with the Glock. The perfume bottle clatters to a rest under the truck, and you see a stream of gas leaking from the tank. Both men, looking unnerved, abandon their cover and run towards a nearby sporting goods store. One is carrying a rifle, the other a pistol. You continue to fire as fast as you can, and you see the left arm of the man with the rifle go limp as he dashes behind a parka display. Your gun clicks empty, and you return it to its holster, wishing you'd brought more ammo.
What will you do now?
Refill your tank with their gas then make a break for it in your car.
>Light their car on fire. Try to reason with them while making sure they don't leave the store.
Escape in their car. As long as you clear the mall they'll have no way to track you.
You'll need to come back for Fran, but it's obvious they won't worry about a rotting corpse they cannot see Fran's true form.
(Back)
>Keep on the lookout for any good bargains.
Light their car on fire. Try to reason with them while making sure they don't leave the store.
Thinking quickly, you rifle through a nearby corpse's pockets and find a lighter, and improvise a Molotov cocktail using a t-shirt and some flammable perfume. You peak over the counter and surmise that the two men are under cover, possibly treating the arm wound you gave the one of them. You light the t-shirt and chuck it at the SUV with all your might. You grab the shotgun again as you watch the satisfying spray of flame as the bottle shatters on the side of the truck. The fire falls to the gasoline, which catches quickly. Pretty soon the fire is spreading nicely, directly towards the store where the men took refuge.
You laugh aloud at your blind luck. "Hey guys, looks like it's going to get hot in there in a minute," you shout over the gathering sound of the flames. "I'd recommend you come on out now, while you can. After losing the guns, of course."
You wait for about thirty seconds, but there's no response. The fire is getting dangerously close now.
What will you do now?
>Don't regret your decision.
Tell them it's their last chance to come out and live or they die. If they don't come out, wait it out till the store's burning.
>Smother the fire in shirts and run.
Tell them it's their last chance to come out and live or they die. If they don't come out, wait it out till the store's burning.
Slinging the rifle over your back, you take up the shotgun and, making a mad dash, cross over to the other side of sporting goods store from the fire, leaning against the wall that divides it from the next store. "One last chance, guys! Get out here before you burn." After another pause, the uninjured man appears, now carrying the rifle. He peers about but doesn't see you, and you jab your shotgun into the side of his head. "Drop it!" you say smugly. The man sags a little, then drops the gun. "Tell your buddy to throw out his pistol, too." The pistol skids out soon after, followed by the wounded man, arm drooping. You get behind them and march them back to your car, which for now is safe from the spreading flames.
You peek in to check on Fran, who seems fine, although still unconscious. You pop open the trunk with your key fob and direct one of the men to recover the handcuffs, still in the bag you'd packed for your spring break trip. While not quite the use you'd intended for them, they serve admirably to bind the two men together to a nearby bench. You prod them with the shotgun. "Where's the third car?" you demand.
It doesn't take much to get answers. "He stopped to check on Jim in the pickup," the uninjured man answers.
"He? Do you mean George?" The man nods. "Is he alone?"
He shakes his head. "Carrie's with him."
You are about to press him for further information when the sound of another car engine comes echoing down the corridor, and getting louder.
What will you do now?
I told you man about stairs to get away from there!
It's time to escape. If I'm not mistaken, there should be a maintenance/delivery corridor connected to every store on the mall. The car can't reach you there, and you can make it to the loading bay and find yourself a new car there.
If I'm mistaken, though, it makes no difference as long as I can convince Telamon I'm right.![]()
> Tell Fran to guard them while you go hide and get ready for George to show up. Better give her a shotgun too.
> Quickly bind them down and hide somewhere unsuspecting.
Oh god, its page 33 (you can hate me forever if I don't read your adventure all the way sometime tomorrow).
>Light the whole pathway on fire.
