Most of our border is on the coast and our enemy, lavendar, has a good portion of it's territory on an island. Investing to become a naval power early on would give us a short term advantage and long-term strategic benefits.

Speaking of long-term strategy, I think an alliance with yellow or brown would be useful in preparation for hostilities against green. With a sufficient navy and good logistical lines courtesy of light blue, we should be able to keep the front off of our border. We want green gone so we can control the cental land and therefore have supply lines to any position on the continent easily.

That's MAGENTA NATION. LAVENDER NATION is the nation to the left of LIGHT GREEN NATION. However, point taken. Research directed to making ships. At the current rate, it will take 5 turns until useful naval technology is discovered.

Also, no one has an airforce as of yet. (Yeah, crappy, I know) Only MAGENTA NATION and TOTALIUM have any sort of naval force, TOTALIUM having the strongest force.

We will need Squidland's support to make this work.
