The Sparring DUEL

I'm trying to make a new duel type. So this will probably not work, or at least get boring really fast.

The rules simply put are:

• you play as a single character.
  Your turn may consist of how you deal with an enemies attack and your next attack.
  You never show your attack connecting.
  You Always start your turn with how an enemies attack is resolved.
  (The exception is if the opponent does not make an attack)
  Every action is instant, but that's not to say you can't use charging moves.
  A social aspect is encouraged, but not necessary.
  mediocre or higher art is preferred.
  Be Creative!

Remember this is not a normal duel. there isn't a base, and a character and summoning. It's a one vs. one fight.

The guy just jumps very high, leaving him completely vulnerable, he must be planing a counter-attack.

(interesting move.. if I understand it correctly (and even if I don't I'm guessing it'll be best to just roll with eachother's interpretations) you didn't actually attack me. so I could go straight to my attack, or ...dodge or something.. I'm thinking if I let you, you'd just fall back down.)

PS: thanks for one-up'n me before my first move! .. is that even possible?

Oh man, I had this sort of idea earlier, I just can't pull it off myself, because I can't draw for crap. I hope it goes well for you guys.

I'm thinking that one of the similarities to a normal typical author duel is that this could take some time and that there will be only one fight per thread. But wait until TheBoyd confirms before making your own thread I guess.

Hey people, before I get into the questions I'm obligated to say: "Rah! Halfway done and you crash on me!?!? RAGE!"

Okay, now where were we?

Okay, uhm, short answer:
Personally I'd prefer to stick to a one v. one. at very least for now, since it just started. maybe after awhile we'll add 'a new challenger approaches' or something. (maybe )

That being said. I'd be honoured if you wanted to make a clone (just don't do it better than me )

Sorry for not adding color to your character, but the program i'm using to do those animations doesn't support color , yeah i know CRAZY
