I just ate lunch. At 3:47 in the after noon. The burger patty was over an inch thick. I would say it was all worth it.
Second lunch! It's left over sandwich time! I hope that salami meat really kicks it up a notch.

I need to find a place to get a good turkey burger.
I mean I have the frozen stuff up in my freezer and I mostly buy them because they all come pre-packaged and therefore easy to freeze and forget.
But it's really only average and the meat tends to be not excatly dry but not excatly juicy.
A strange situation.

Lunch personal pizza for just $7. I got bacon + black olive, one of my favorite topping combos. It was INSANELY tasty; I've never encountered such flavorful bacon before. It actually tasted more like pancetta than regular american bacon.
Cheeseburger Combos taste like McDonald cheeseburgers after the buns have soaked in pickle juice and with twce to three times the amount of ketchup.
Fondue, made with Yuengling Black & Tan Beer Ale
salsa!
1 red pepper
1/2 a green pepper (next time I'll add more)
1 tomato
some garlic cloves, a bit of lime juice, some spices (I'm not sure if this was necessary or had any effect but it smelled good)
I chopped those up, eyeballed the amounts, put it all in the blender (be careful not to make it soupy)
put a bit of olive oil in a pot and poured the mixture in, heated it for a while on the stove (low numbers like 1-5)
This is the second time I successfully made salsa. This time, I wanted to see what would happen so I added one of those tiny orange peppers into the blender with everything else
It infused the entire thing with heat
Bluh, I recently order some white pizza with some pepperoni on there to spice things up a little bit.
To my surprise it was rather dull and didn't pick all that well.
Any suggestions to add to the white pizza next time?
Since thanksgiving is coming up, the supermarket is having an awesome 2 for 1 sale on chicken cuz' everyone's all about the turkey.
So now I need some good chicken recipes!

greens do pretty well. spinach, basil. always goes well with more cheese (feta in particular). bacon instead of pepperoni; smokier flavors work better.

I just had a Sonoran Hot Dog from Big Star (1531 North Damen, Chicago), and wtf. I am not used to hot dogs that large (that's what she said).
Ikea sells meatballs.
And they're pretty tasty.
They don't put it next to the furniture of course.
Also xiaomai has become my basis point in pricing because a large portion of stores sell it in different ways: $5 for 5, $6 for 6 $9 for 10, $6.5 for 5 and $10.5 for 10, etc.
Jitka Fun Fact #35: I've never been in an Ikea
Oh man, since thanksgiving was going on there was a huge sale on Chicken so I bought some and today I thought I would cook some :O
Marinated with some rosemary and oregano and cooked with some wine and it is juicy and delicious to the max.
I can't give you a specific recipe because I go by the "what feels right" method of seasoning. I don't know but it tends to work out better that way.
On the side I made some European style rice, and boiled up some brocolli, just plain.
Ok, so maybe it wasn't anything THAT SPECIAL but I totally nailed the chicken and I am pretty proud of that : D

That sounds like some pretty good chicken cooking skills.
What sort of wine did you use for the chicken? :0
I just ate a vegan biscuit and sausage, and I am in the process of drinking a red eye.
I've heard from multiple people that alcohol either does or doesn't cook out of food, and can't find a reliable answer from google. So which is it?
it does
