- What its name is; how you might contact it again
- To sever your cord, please (you may already have been here for 'a few hours', since you are poor at measuring time and just took a long walk)

I guess if it refuses to use its sharp appendages to do you the favor, you might try your acid -- maybe the cord can be corroded.
