    Re: Songs we sing

I just edited the post so my bad choice of words don't make me sound like I'm complaining about the lack of speculation. I'm really not.

I've seen threads get out of hand with all the off-topic chatter but the readers here have done a good job keeping it classy, not to mention how you mostly take your roles within the adventure seriously.

Fans are like family, you can't choose them, so I'm thankful I don't have to begrudgingly attend this family reunion in the back yard shooting whiskey to make it through one more story from Aunt Cynthia about how God blessed her with genius children.

Whoo, awesome, I look kind of like an evil Link.

Neat birthday present to get(technically three hours afterwards but who cares?), thanks Gentrigger for the great art and the wonderful adventure.

Ok, well I do have a question. Does everything in existence have some sort of inner being to it? from rocks to even the air it self? ((suddenly thought of probing the lesbian rock ))

also If this door has some sort of regal avatar, there must be something more important to it than being a simple hindrance to passage. well that's unless the resident god is a pompous git and wanted even the souls of his objects to be regal. which wouldn't surprise me

I haven't been posting much, but I really do like the adventure. On another note, I think we have a use for that book. BRIBE THE KING INTO GOING ALONG WITH YOU.

Oh man, the set up, the delivery! SO PERFECT! The music. That was win.
Maybe life is nothing more than a huge fan fiction. I mean, you're reading this as y'know the reader right? You're imagining my speech, my manners, how i word my everyday exchanges. But what if, that's exactly what it is. No this isn't a GOSHDARN INCEPTION JOKE. It's a legit question.

Let's shift our perspective behind the door where we find a wee Lame doing his job dutifully. What's that? Never heard of a Lame? Well the true name of their race is the Laag, though many just refer to them by a popular nickname: Lames. Created for the sake of pure servitude, a Lame simply cannot survive without guidance. This isn't some sort of hard-wired fail safe like the requirement of a Non-Consenter to guard something, they simply cannot direct themselves enough to do something simple as surviving. Their culture, their dressings, their alignment, all depending on a master who they worship. A Lame only knows how to follow and nothing makes them happier than fulfilling the task of their master. They make ideal henchmen though to have them do anything complex you'll need a lot of Lames, all pulling together with their limited capacities like cogs in a machine to get that task done. They say the more Lames you have, the smarter they are thus theories have been suggested where if enough lames got together they could function without a master. This is of course wild speculation on the part of a madman who might have been quickly exiled to the furthest reaches of the world for suggesting that any number of Lames can think for themselves.

This particular Lame is doing a good job holding the handle on the door still to keep anyone out. In fact he's never done a job so good in his life and he's awfully thrilled that he was able to deter the handle jiggling that occurred a while ago. Once his handle-holding shift is over he can't wait to get back to his loving wife and tell her all about the wonderful job he did holding this handle.

His fond thoughts are disturbed by some sort of commotion coming from within the door.

The Lame, absolutely flustered ten times over cannot take the shock of this situation and falls over into a catatonic state. Some would suggest this is a natural defense mechanism, others know better that a lone Lame's heart simply can't take this much excitement.

Decided to add a God sponsor to the Orators I'm drawing, it's not typical for an Orator to have a deity though it's more fun when they do~

Orator Asmodemus & Spear, God of Hearts

Orator Pancakes & Ghostes, God(s?) of lullabys
