Threw this together from a screenie in a couple minutes.
Figured i might as well share it with you guys.

I ended up making a few myself

Preview on my computer though I keep my icons small. Pesterchum is actually a special Adium alteration downloaded here: http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=x ... ra_id=6838 though I put in the icon. I used Candybar for the Mac icons for Finder which is now the Complete Bullshit icon and then the folders.

Dave contains:
Red Folder
Complete Bullshit
Hephaestus
Pesterchum

I think if you're willing to make the John, Rose, and Jade icons for individuals you should post them for everybody. I mean if you're going to make them anyway, why not? I'd sure as hell use them. I'm already using your Dave icons.

I am working on them for everyone. I just wanted to see that there was an interest which there is. Working on the Rose stuff now. Ironically a lot more work intensive with the pixels and patterns.

Like I said in the last Fanart page where this all happened, I'm extremely tempted to download Chrome, Safari, and Opera and apply the kids' respective icons to each (and Firefox).

For reference,
John = Chrome
Jade = Firefox (Furry persuasion)
Dave = Safari (Apple)
Rose = Opera (referencing her violinist nature)


Basically all that to say I would indeed be interested!

I just realized, a smart person would just make the icons by cutting them out with photoshop instead of making them pixel by pixel in Illustrator.

Ehh, comes out better doing it all by hand though.

Unfortunate fact: Win98 is a huge pain bluh bluh to get working in a VM. You first have to sort of slipstream an installation (not trivial, took me a few hours to get right the second time I did it (after forgetting that I'd done it once before), although I did save the now-functional boot floppy image I used to do it), and then you have to get some random VESA drivers off of the internet (I gave up at this point), or else the graphics will be slow as all hell, to the point of unusability.

Oh yeah, and then there's the fact that Win98 doesn't properly idle on a CPU, so it tends to consume CPU constantly unless you install some other random drivers.
