I use GIMP. It's free and has a lot of the same features as photoshop, but if all you've ever used before is MSPaint, it'll probably seem complicated.

Alright, so I decided to sit down and do a mouse doodle of my created troll.
So, here he is. (I hate mouse drawing soo much.)



His name is Filut Vessil.

Text Color: #A1C8F9 (Light Cornflower Blue)
Typing Quirk: Mostly proper case sensitivity; using +'s for t's. First word is all capitals, dividing the letters with a vertical line, ending with a colon.

Personality: Dreams of being human, asleep and awake.
Enjoys snacking down at all times of the day, even when the time does not call for it. Pretty quiet until a conversation fires up. Creates and keeps secrets most of the time.
If he ever breaks promises, it's from working out too hard. Ashamed of harnessing horns.
Keeps them shaved down pretty low.

Provide your change in the dispenser and select your item of choice. However, beware that if the item gets stuck between the glass and the loop coil, it will be stuck until the "Eject All" button is pressed. Caution though: If the button is pushed as described, all items will be launched by the Modus' cannon in an octagon; therefore making the user FREAKOUT IN DESPAIR.

I've got the unfair advantage of having expensive quipment such as a tablet and Photoshop CS4. However, any program that can do pixel work and has layers is much preferred. Layers help you keep things organized and make different body parts movable on their own, as well as make things such as animation much simpler.

I highly recommend GIMP. GIMP also has a handy curve selection tool that makes clean shapes. Though I'm not sure if it can be done without anti-aliasizing.

@PlugKnight:I use Paint.net. It's a lot simpler than other ones, like GIMP and Photoshop, but there aren't as many options. Also, that's pretty good! And the fact that it was drawn with a mouse is even more amazing.

Heh, I like that little sculpture. And maybe pL opted for blood anonymity as well?

Anyway, I think we ought to stick with "The Spectiles", because sC is green. Unless you want to have a one man out kind of thing, like "Micheal, Micheal, and Craig". And we'll have to come up with a clever pun for our sisterbrother chain too.

That looks impressive considering that you made his body from scratch! I love the pads on his knees, and the shoes are awesome.
One thing I'd suggest is to put a line between his pants and shirt. That way it'll look like your shirt has a hem. Otherwise it looks strange.
