I- I've been lurking for a bit, and I've never screwed up the courage to post here. But trollplaying seems more fun than the majority of fandom stuff (I'm not really a big fanplaying person) and despite my uncertainty, I'm kicking myself into doing this.

I'm not exactly asking to be added to the list yet, though. As you can see, there are a couple of things I'm not sure about yet. @w@ She's not 100% developed in general, and I was hoping some RP would get her on that track. I was also hoping someone could offer some advice. Symbol and typing quirk have been difficult to pin down (her symbol is a heart in the pic, but I decided to change it after the significance of the heart to trolls came out, and I've yet to really come up with anything else- spent all night browsing heiroglyphs, runes, alchemical and astrological symbols x _x). I'm sort of considering the alchemical symbol for wax or purification, but I dunno...

And the typing quirk has evaded me the entire time. I just can't think of something that's really her. =/ Considering perhaps triple punctuation or always having an ellipsis at the end (so ending everything with either ..., ...!, or ...?) and/or encasing all text in parentheses. Baaah, I just don't know if it's enough. Got the typing quirk.

Thanks. I think your troll is pretty cute too. For her typing quirk I like the idea of always ending things with an ellipsis. Makes her sound more quiet and hesitant, since you said she doesn't like being around people? Maybe you could do zero capitalization too, like...

Also, typing quirks, a good way to find one that fits is to try and imagine how your troll would aktually talk. The example Red gave there is a good eksample, as is how CR types. This kan be seen again in Homestuk with kharakters like Soluks.

Alternativley, there are those that do a play on things, similar to how MK talks. His typing quirk evolved from me trying to figure out a trolltag that fit the letters MK and related to arthropods somehow. I kame up with karapase and simply shanged the spelling to make it work. I liked the effekt so I rolled with it. This kan be seen in kannon with kharakters like Ekwius.

Red Pen- Good point. She is softspoken. I'm leaning toward the ellipsis route more and more. No capitalization might be a possibility as well, but I'm not sure.

mediokreKarapase- I would have done that, but the problem is mostly that I don't think there's anything that really stands out about the way she talks, nothing that would necessitate changing letters or anything. I do know that she usually speaks formally and almost never uses contractions (just on the occasion that I forget she doesn't use contractions :P). If there were something more characteristic about her voice, it wouldn't be quite so hard. xD

Aaand here she is looking rather sad about one thing or another. Experimenting with horn type...
