So is Aradia to somehow... possess the robot, or just use it by remote control?
A kernelsprite that's been prototyped with a ghost should be able to possess people and objects, as one of its acquired powers. It's one of the things ghosts do.
EDIT: extra discomfort: Equius "paid a great deal of attention to quality and detail" on this facsimile of a female for whom he has amorous intentions.

But sprites aren't supposed to do certain things that the players are. Maybe this will bend the rules enough?
Then again it's doubtful that he has any kind of sensors in the robot's "skin" so it'd be like a big shell. Of course that doesn't stop us from shipping carapace people, so... carry on.
Is Equius the kind of creep who would install one of his remote control programs into Aradia's robot body in case she doesn't love him back? If he does that, I'll lose all respect for the man.
Posted here because I don't want to see any romart of it.
request: someone to counter this by writing a sad ending to Frankie's story. Maybe one that ends in suicide or something.
Okay:
The misunderstanding was all sorted out, until...
"D --> Miscegenation"!
And thus Nepata realised that racism conquers all, not love.
While on top of Karkat's lynched corpse.
THE END
Oh, I'm sorry that I was late to the party, but I just realized we left thison a bad note.
And then Equius Zahhak woke up.
Equius knows that such an event will never occur.
While he holds some sway over Nepeta, he knows that Nepeta would never truly abandon her friends and that if she found someone she truly cared about, she would follow her heart.
Why does he order Nepeta around? Why is he so overprotective of her?
Well, because to be fair, she is a little dense.
She may be able to survive in the wild for now, but eventually the time will come for her to leave her cave and her lusus behind. And he wishes that she would come with him.
But he knows that it will never happen.
He may be able to stop her from playing various games, and even from talking to some people(temporarily), but it is because he truly believes that she may get hurt, physically or otherwise.
He cares for her... more than she knows... more than even he himself knows.
He is overprotective because he does not know subtlety. Because he does not know when to use a softer touch. That is where all his problems lie.
Nepeta does not love him, as much as he tries to convince himself otherwise.
How he wishes that he could whisk her away from her dank cave, but he knows that she wouldn't be happy. And despite many of his actions, that is what he cares about the most.
He... He knows that eventually... she will find someone... and that it probably won't be him.
So at the very least he wants her to dignified and cultured, so that no matter who she eventually goes for they will have no reason to reject her.
And if they do... He will show them how strong he is.
What was that Aurthour? Why yes, I do believe it is time for the daily Cage Match.

I assume she'll just control it from her Cosbytop. Unless Equius has a psychic link to his stuff, he has the software for remotely controlling his robots.

Squeeing over this just like everyone else, but I had another, mostly unrelated thought while reading this update.
The thing with Gamzee, coupled with Equius being titillated by how degrading and wrong the situation is for someone of his stature, make me envision him as a closet submissive who struggles to reconcile his shameful desire to be degraded with his natural arrogance, the necessity of being a dominant nobleman, and the fact that he destroys everything he touches with his superhuman strength.
I'm probably reading too much into it, but this is hilarious to me.
I am this tempted to edit that page into other characters. It seems like a lot of effort for basically a one-off joke that I'm describing right now so it would have lost all its punch. Yeah... just imagine I edited it into other people instead of typing this out. Mission accomplished Broseph.

God I can't stay mad at Noir.
He's just.
He's like when a tiny puppy murders a squirrel and brings the corpse into your house as a present to you and it's wagging its tail and is SO PROUD of itself.
Then it goes into your house, tears your couch apart, and shits on all of your carpets.
