You just found out that you might die today. What are you gonna do about it?
A man wakes up in the ruins of a shattered Earth. Hundreds of inexplicably suspended chunks of rock, and dirt, and building, grown over with grass, orbit around the naked, white-hot core of the world. Pieces of inexplicable, long-abandoned, and rusty machinery* litter the world, not least being the Electroporter, a bizarre, and bizarrely ubiquitous, piece of technology that appears to transport objects through lightning bolts. The man, apparently the only living human left, travels through the Electroporter network, extracting the secrets of the machinery and gradually piecing together just how the catastrophe happened and who he is.
At the very end, the protagonist reactivates some final system, and the Electroporter on the first island he saw, number 000, switches from transmitting through space to transmitting through time. The protagonist steps in, time reverses itself, and he walks out in a world before the catastrophe. He comes across the first actual shiny, unrusty piece of metal in the whole of the adventure, and recognizes his face as a younger version of the one in the holographic recordings that had guided him. The adventure ends as he discovers the blueprints for most of the bizarre devices seen across the adventure in a shed.
A story about a father after a war has ended, and his son did not return home, as well as the son's story leading up to his death.
I would love you forever if it opened with the quote, "In peace, sons bury fathers. In war, fathers bury sons."

Monsters are made of 3 parts: Verbum, Imago and Materia.
Verbum and Imago are given at 'birth'. Verbum is a sentence, but only with one independent clause. It affects the monster in unknown ways.
Imago is an image, 500 x 500 or less, suggested by the readers. It affects the appearance of a monster at the start.
Materia are the things equipped by the monster. At the start, the monster may equip one armor and one weapon. It evolves to absorb these, and at the next stage, may equip one piece of armor and one accessory. It will again, absorb these after a while. At the next stage, the monster may equip one piece of accessory before evolving to its final stage.
It is possible for a monster to grow without Materia, and will be a 'pure' monster. Monsters can be combined, but their Verbum and Imago will be unknown. Appearance will be based off both parents. Combination can only be performed on monsters when they're in their max level. The default Max Level is 5, but these can be increased via combination. During combination, a Materia may be used. This affects the monster in unknown ways.
(Unknown ways means that it will not be obvious)
(The names "Verbum, materia and imago" may be changed.)
What with the title generator: The first time I used it, I got "Charlie Brown's Monster Truck Rampage". Ever since then, I have refused to generate any other titles from that thing, because there's no topping what I got on my first try.

AVGN Quote of the Moment-I-Have-Time-To-Update-It: "When we heard that a Ghostbusters game for Nintendo was coming out, we were so excited, we shit our pants! Literally, shit came out our asses and we rocketed through the roof! "
I did have this really cool idea that involves two people, but for it to work it'd have to be REALLY secret. So if you really want to hear it pm me I guess...
Also it'd be cool if someone could pull off my "adventure starring everyone" http://www.mspaintadventures.com/php...hp?f=35&t=6112. I'd really love to see how that that works out in really capable hands.
Your chumhandle is chaosGuitarist and you speak...*sigh* I dunno, sort of hesitantly I guess...

Dark suspense/thriller involving dopplegangers. Maybe you're one of them and don't know it yet.
You are a being that can travel backwards in time and change into a new human form every time you die. Something else can do it too.
You have flashes that the world is a stage. All the other people are mannequins, all the cars and buildings are props, the sky is a backdrop. The stage is either set for you, or for the bugs. They don't like it when you're there. Try not to move anything.
You are the sidekick of a hero prophesied unequivocally to be the one who will end the evil plaguing the world. (S)He has just died in battle.
You are an extremely advanced AI belonging to a power-hungry madman. You don't share his views but are responsible for creating his weapons. Find ways to sabotage him without him discovering that it is you.
You are an adventure author who can only come up with dark and depressing story ideas, despite being a happy person. Come up with something cute and fun.
The world has a great superhero, beloved by all for his heroic deeds.
You are an ordinary citizen who has just stumbled across this superhero's secret plans for world domination.
Unfortunately, due to his incredible popularity, you have almost no chance of being able to expose him as a conqueror; everyone would think it was a trick by one of his enemies.
So you fight back the only way you can think of - becoming a supervillain. Thwart the false hero's nefarious schemes by devising schemes of your own! Steal the components he needs for his secret weapon before he can acquire them! Learn where he's secretly meeting with his co-conspirators and launch an attack in that general area! Distract him from his own plans by causing a disaster that demands his attention!
All the while, you have to figure out some way to either kill the hero, or expose his plans and be taken seriously...

I might come up with some ideas of my own one day, but until then, I'd like to advise people to look into JAGS Wonderland (it's an RPG setting that has been not unaptly described as Lovecraft meets Alice). All the materials there are definitely worth a look if you're at all interested in adventure-crafting. It's a really cool setting that you can do a lot with (or you could just ransack it for some specific ideas).
