I have a small request.

Due to all the time and effort I have put into Hare Force One, I have had to explain it to many members of my family and several friends, none of whom possessed the knowledge of Homestuck continuity required to fully understand it.

Pointing the more interested non-readers towards the Blog has usually been a good move, enabling them to casually keep track of the goings-on without immersing them in an unfamiliar forum. My proposition is as follows:

It would greatly help newcomers if there was an "About" page for them to read.
Such a page could be easily implemented, based on existing descriptions from the map and first thread post.

Thus far Bowman has graciously supplied the text for blog-exclusive posts, and done an admirable job. However, for this proposed section, I feel it would be better if members of the community came together and devised several comprehensive and informative paragraphs.

As mentioned before, most of the necessary information already exists, all that we need to do is rearrange it into a non-reader friendly format, supplement it with a few key story details, and use it where applicable.

I personally haven't been having the problems with trying to get people unfamiliar with the site to comprehend what is going on, but I also feel like it's a lot to ask someone who doesn't understand what Homestuck is to "get it". Just MHO, though.
