Oh, I hadn't heard! I'm running the photoshoots all three days, so please stop by, I'd love to meet you! Shoots are at 3:14 by the fountain (though we may move out of space constraints) for Friday and Saturday (plus a late-night Saturday shoot at 10:25).

I'm betting there won't be many (or any) MSPA folks going to this con, but I am, and I'd hate to be alone. It's called All-Con, and it's in Addison, TX at the Crowne Plaza. It's going from March 16th to the 18th. This is a lesser-known con, but one that every Dallas cosplayer should go to at least once. Hence the name, it caters to pretty much every fandom out there, anime or otherwise. Homestuck fans would be more than welcome.

If anyone's going, I'll be Diamonds Droog on Saturday, and Grand Highblood on Sunday. Hopefully I'll see some of you there!

That was crazy! I was especially struck by the small panel rooms they thought were appropriate. Nearly all the other panels (With the exception of the bronies) were just about empty. Trolls, heroes, exiles, midnight crew, and a single prospitian packed like sardines.

... perhaps we should warn the next con and demand better accommodations?

I actually called ahead to Katsucon as a warning for the photoshoot and panel. They didn't give us anything. We were packed in that panel room like you wouldn't believe (I was the Terezi, god it was crowded).

If you're talking about the one in the summer in San Diego, well, I'm planning to, but it will be a few months before I know for sure if I and my friends have the funds.
I am going to A-Kon and will be there Friday and Saturday, and will be doing GT Vriska and going to the meetup on Saturday.
I would love to go to Anime Matsuri, since it's closer to where I live and all, but I don't have the money for it if I'm going to the other two, and A-Kon is not optional.

It's from July 1st thru July 4th and held at the Los Angeles Convention Center

AnimeSTL actually has a Homestuck event planned this year (on Saturday, 8-pm). From what i gathered from the people that have set it up, it was going to be something like a Q&A and Discussion session among the fans. There isn't anybody on the teams that are going to show up, though. So it is kind of a fan meet and greet.

I offered to help them out, but as of now, i'm just letting people know about it.
