I posted this in my forum adventure to express the sound of a broken robot. It appears to have possibly broken more than a robot.

EDIT: I think it was a one-time thing. It got fixed after I edited my post without changing anything.

I've had some posts "carry over" like that myself lately, doesn't seem to have to do with the content of the post. It's just another one of those things at the forum we're going to have to get used to.

The HS music thread is broken. It says there are 88 pages but there are several posts that show up only in the topic review, including a couple new posts that won't clear unless I mark the forum read.

It probably stems from the couple-hour outage shortly after the new album was released, but I figure it's worth reporting.

There are a couple of .gifs int the third page of my fanventure that get stuck on the first frame indefinitely and slow down the window when they're in view.

Also, the SSL icon isn't showing up on my browser.

I'm not sure if this is the right place but when I use quick reply it sends me to the advanced reply page and when I click their it doesn't show up on the thread but it does show up on my post search.
Also, a lot of links to threads here are taking forever to load and sometimes not at all.

There have been a couple posts before in here about the main site not displaying new news posts or in one case, the pages after [S] Dirk: Synchronize. Seems to be some cache issue somewhere along the line (but not at the client side). These tend to be fixed with a "proper" update.

The admins have said this thread is intended to be devoted to problems with the forums, not with the comic site...

As a quick note, any instances of pages after a given page not appearing immediately that I'm aware of of late have been due to deliberate design.

I assumed that they were hidden by hussie so he could have those up, then drop the synchronise page on us. He forgot to unhide them.

When I try to un-hide a hidden post by clicking "View Post", it just opens up a new window that displays the same thread with the post still hidden, rather than displaying the post like it used to. I don't know exactly when this changed, but I think it was within the last week.

I think the email confirmation system is broken, my friend has tried to make 3 accounts, and none of them have received an email.

The email doesn't go out to some email hosts for reasons beyond our control. Just post their user name and an Admin will activate their account manually.

Speaking of verification emails not working, there's a guy named Dusty who wanted to post in a topic I made, but couldn't because he didn't get his email. Could a mod please activate his account?

I turned off all the AJAX bits a few days ago because the forums have nothing more granular for disabling e.g. the "quick reply" that tries to not leave the page than "all or none".

Clicking "View Post" on a reply by a user on my ignore list no longer loads the post in question.

Instead, it opens the page again in a new window, with a url to the ignored post much like this one.

This isn't a bug with the forums, but... I cannot see the newest News Post by Hussie. I'll see it as soon as there's a newer news post. I have tried deleting my cookies, uninstalling firefox addons, but to no avail. Any ideas what is going on? Is this affecting anyone else?
