Nope, everyone is just really clever. Which is why my (solitary, I believe) Ban Log entry isn't funny at all.

I've asked this before but never received a response but is there any chance the forum hosting is going to get looked at soon?
It's been on and off almost daily and it must have been gone for a good hour this evening, it's getting slightly ridiculous. Homestuck is on hiatus, there's not even any reason we'd have exceptionally high traffic right now.

So lately whenever I mark a forum read, whether by double-clicking on the icon or using the forum actions thing at the top of the section, it takes me to the page of the section that contains whatever I just marked read, if that makes any sense. Is that just a new thing that's been changed? Because it's pretty annoying. :|

Is there any particular reason that, whenever i want to edit a post, the forum takes me straight to advanced reply rather than quick reply? I mean, most people's edits probably dont require the extra few thingymajyks that advanced reply add, and so this only serves to make edits more lengthy and annoying, i think.

This has started happening to me today - and it's rather more concerning due to my moderatorial status etc etc. This means I can't see posts that users (or other mods) have deleted!

My thirst for knowledge cannot be satisfied in this way

And the edit post function is sending me to the Edit Post page proper, as opposed to the quick in-page editing function. All very vexing!

I turned off all the AJAX bits a few days ago because the forums have nothing more granular for disabling e.g. the "quick reply" that tries to not leave the page than "all or none".

That would require the forum to host peoples' images, which would make it even slower than it already is.

We do avatars and that's about it, because that functionality is somewhat controlled.
