Is there any known ties between John or LOWAS and healing/medicine? I've been wondering if there was any significance between the naming of the tune "Doctor" and well, anything.

Only thing that comes to mind is this, but the connections are really loose.

Large images of LoWaS are easy to find, but I can't seem to get hold of any good images of LoLaR or LoHaC. Their only orbital appearance that I know of was in [S] Jack: Ascend, where they're tiny and pixelated.

Has Andrew posted such images anywhere?

There are no detailed pictures of either planet. There are only the small images in that animation and the scribbles on WV's wall.
I've considered asking some of the artists to just draw a detailed version of each planet for my map. Not entirely sure why I haven't yet.

Eldritch princess Jaspers was still a kernelsprite at that time, not a sprite yet. It is a little odd to compare John's kernelsprite with the harlequin to Rose's kernelsprite with both Jaspers and the Eldritch princess; by which I mean to say, they do look different. When Rose's kernelsprite had only Jaspers, it looked similar to John's in that only the head was shown. However, for Rose, after her second prototyping the kernelsprite took on the look of a sprite. You can still see that it's a kernelsprite as it has the orb around it.

And kernelsprites can interact with their environment. John gave his kernelsprite a high-five after he discovered the meteor was heading towards his house.

Really? That was TOTALLY unclear.

Everything that was currently happening made sense right up until John was suddenly asleep on a bed floating in a sea of oil even though we never saw this happen in the first place.

That's not an especially good way to tell a story.

I think what stands out is that time skips (or at least, time skips over important events) don't happen to John that often, given he's the protagonist. So it's a bit odd to see him on the business end of one.

Most of the titles seem to have some sort of relation to either biology or physics (Light, Time, Space, Void). Except Doom, I guess (but even Sollux had inexplicable brains hanging around his Land).

I'm sorry if this isn't the right thread to post this as it seems to be more about the plot of the comic itself, and my question has more to do with some of the technical information around it, but anyway, here goes!

I'm curious about the process of acquiring new musicians for the Homestuck music team: Is it pretty much by invitation only, or can one simply submit a resume/draft somewhere? I'm a hobbyist musician with several years of composition/production experience, as well as a posted OCremixer, and ever since I've started following Homestuck, I've been enamoured with the idea of creating some music for it, but I honestly have no idea where to start (whom to contact etc.)

I'd very much appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction and provide me with some additional information on this. Thanks a ton!

The music team does recruit from time to time, usually by recommendation of music team members. There's no set recruitment process, so if you want to join us you could try sending a PM to Andrew or Betelgeuse showing what your music's like and why you want to be on the team and so on.
It also wouldn't hurt to establish yourself in the community - it helps if there are people who can vouch for you.

The Art Forum would be a good place to start. Read both the general rules announcement and the Art Forum rules sticky, because they detail how you should and should not exhibit your work, to keep things tidy.
