In case the leak wasn't enough to keep you occupied, here's the next installment of A Planeswalker's Guide to New Phyrexia!

Oh hey, despite its art, the Sword of War and Peace is Mirran. (You all probably already knew that (why am i even reading this(i don't even play magic i just think it's fun to look at)))
Oh hey there, you won't mind if my little 2/2 infector here bludgeons you to death with this Contagion Engine, right? I hope you won't mind though because once he hits something with it, he can't help but activate it's {4}{T} ability. I mean, who can resist that?![]()
Yeah, but you have to pay to equip them
The point of big stuff+March is that your 4-drop or 5-drop with a super-strong effect gives you a free 4/4 or 5/5 to attack with, but with Brawl you need actual creatures and mana
edit: I think that 1/1 red common might actually be pretty godlike in RDW
The ability to do an extra 3 damage at the price of sacrificing a creature is so strong... I think RDW would still play it even if it forced you to sacrifice every creature you control

Voriclex/Glissa sloppy makeouts???
Also, here's something fun...
1. Play Koth/Jace/etc
2. Play Liquimetal Coating, turn planeswalker into artifact
3. Play Bludgeon Brawl, equip planeswalker to a creature
4. Who needs profit, you just smacked your opponent in the head with Jace

I am so in love with this set, for flavor as well as all the cool, fun, and usable cards in it. I'm honestly sad that it was decided to make the block about the progression from Mirrodin rather than starting with New Phyrexia right off the bat as it was originally planned. Three sets of this would have been love, love, love.
Edit: I'm seriously considering putting together a Splinter Twin combo deck for Standard after this set hits the shelves. There's currently two instant-win combos with it; already available is Splinter Twin + Myr Galvanizer + Mana Myr, and now there's also the two-card combo of Splinter Twin and Deceiver Exarch. UR Combo might be worth looking into.

The corgis are always on to something. Always.
Your chumhandle is corgiliciousCorgitude and you Give maD shOut Outs tO mans best frienD DOG TUMBLER
Yeah that's a better idea by several orders of magnitude.
Can be repeated with Venser and Karn, though Bolas has evasion and is only 1/1 smaller than the other two combined.

Shit's going down.
"Sorry, the blog at mtgoinfiniteproject.blogspot.com has been removed. This address is not available for new blogs."
Holy fuck.
Also, MTGSalvation is going slow as hell and not displaying everything for all of their threads -- but that's understandable. there are, I think, 4000 people on the boards right now? Still frustrating.
Hmm, that used to link to a post claiming Wizards was taking legal action against people who'd leaked the GodBook on IRC. But now I'm seeing news that it wasn't true, which is why it's been taken down. Hmm.
Yes, Sally is slow as balls and glitching out like crazy with double, triple, etc. posts everywhere. I sure picked a hell of a week to start moderating there. -_-
Pretty weird all over. (Do we know anything about any reactions whose validity hasn't been called into question? It may just be me, but I think that they would have been up someone's ass, or at least trying to do SOMETHING, within an hour...)
Urgh. That kinda sucks all over. I somehow imagine Salvation being hell to moderate anyway, but when it's having issues?Yes, Sally is slow as balls and glitching out like crazy with double, triple, etc. posts everywhere. I sure picked a hell of a week to start moderating there. -_-
I wonder who's going to carry on this block's proud tradition of massive cleavage. Scars had Kemba, Besieged had Koth's Courier, so who'll win the chest lottery this time?
Chrome Splicer is the only one that comes to mind right away.
And yes, Salvation is a pain in the ass to moderate but it has to be done. Specifically, I moderate the Rumor Mill, and boy does it need it. Even without this huge leak during rumor season the place gets filled to the brim with spam and folks flaming each other while they debate whether or not card X is amazing or not, or saying that everyone who likes/hates the set is an idiot, etc. I know full well what a pain that place can be at its worst and I do my best to try and keep things excellent.

I'll let you know when things settle down. It's not quite as hectic but the server still seems a bit glitchy. Hopefully the site spoiler should be able to be updated soon too (I still haven't received the authorization to update it myself).
Some of the time. Against, say, Caw-Go, Inquisition is possibly better because you can use it to nab a Sword, the only advantage for Despise in that situation is the ability to hit Jace. Not sure if that trade is worth it.
