This thread is for Homestuck fanart, and for image edits that don't fall under the "Image Manipulation" jokes thread category. We don't bite and we love all fanart, but do keep in mind that the thread moves fast so not all images get comments- thing get lost in the shuffle! [Personally, I make sure to see every fanart posted in the thread, even if I don't comment on them all] If you would like more guaranteed feedback, there's a Homestuck-Fans Group on DeviantART.

Sad thought (not necessarily shippy). Was thinking about Future Rose and the bad time-line, etc... I was struck by the idea of wondering what Rose would do with the rabbit she was making for John once she found out he was dead. The bunny John found was incomplete; Rose hadn't finished the gift. Would alternate time-line Rose finish the bunny? I guess it depends in part on when she found out John was dead and when Dave got the time-tables. I imagine there was a very different mind-set between when John was found to be dead and when Dave found out he could reverse time. I was stuck by this idea...

Rose decided to finish knitting the bunny even though John was dead. The time-tables would make it so John could live again, but Rose wasn't sure what would happen to her, etc... She asked Dave to take with him the complete bunny to give to John once he reversed the time-line all the way. So... I'm struck by the idea of Davesprite giving John the completed bunny. It could have a note from Rose; it could simply be explained by Davesprite. I just thought it touching to think of Rose asking Dave to take the completed bunny with him as he went to save John. A memento of a damned time spent in loneliness.

I've been rereading Homestuck in order to get voices/typing patterns right for my fanfic. And, yeah, the kids are my favorite anyway, but now that I've looked back again, I really miss them.

actually there is, it was supposed to be a reflective black marble cieling, complete with their reflections in it, of some unseen city outside of a big window. But it was taking so long so I just went without it.
