Well, to be precise, it's canon that there are twelve players in the troll session and that Jade has made contact with twelve trolls, but that leaves just a tiny bit of wiggle room. It's possible that UU could be in the veil, having gotten into the medium the same way Dad or Grampa did, choosing not to communicate with any of the kids. We haven't seen any of the trolls' contact lists while they're in the veil, so while shaky and far-fetched, UU is not quite down yet.

I like to think Operation Regisurp makes Karkat and Vriska honourary members of the Midnight Crew and this much more awesome by association.
Though actually it seems like both all of the to-be Midnight Crew and all of Red Team might be involved. I suppose you need all the troll/agentpower you can get to do something like invade Derse itself.
EDIT: What's even more interesting is that Grandpa probably did something like that by himself in Kids' session, seeing as Jack's Fourth Wall ended up in his laboratory.

Hey, has anyone figured out why Jack sympathised with Karkat's blood issue? I still haven't figured out what about it all made Jack flip from stabhappy to "you poor thing"

EDIT: Taurus, it wasn't really much of a moodflip. Jack was never incapable of the nobler side of the emotional spectrum; we saw what could well be classed as gratitude, mercy and obligation. I think he was genuinely confused by Karkat's reaction to being stabbed (he probably stabbed a lot of people in his career and basically went "huh, didn't see that one before"), then when he explained it sort of took pity on him because that's really rather pitiful. And at the same time he also needed to calm him down, so he figured he might as well make a friendly gesture.
Also, perhaps he just read up on Troll Etiquette recently.

It seems like it was just a way to calm Karkat down and get him to agree to a deal.
The six lit orbs on the ring at the point where BQ removes it are presumably Karkat, Terezi, Gamzee, Equius, Aradia and either Tavros or Nepeta. Probably Nepeta since the lit orbs are in two groups of three rather than one of four and one of two.

The Cosmic Joke is either the same thing as the Ultimate Riddle or the very opposite of it (in the sense of being created by a force opposite to the one behind the Ultimate Riddle).
Yeah it's interesting Andrew refreshed our memories about the frog dude. I think they like in Skaia and Derse wants to wipe them out or something.
Oh and throughout the Regisurp plan; it was noted that the Red Team and Midnight Crew would become friends XD.

Slick isn't really pure evil. Basically he's ambitious, arrogant, sarcastic, hates being ordered around or put in a lower position of command, and wants to climb to the top by any means necessary. Really if you compare Karkat and Jack the only difference is that Karkat won't shut up and insults everyone and everything, and Jack just stabs them.
jack is inherently a Bad Guy. remember, carapace "people" aren't people, thats why its okay to kill them en masse
