Exclamation GROUP PROJECTS RULES & GUIDELINES - Now With Activities!

I feel that it is important to keep this subforum from becoming estranged from the rest of the Art Forum, and I really want you all to be able to share the fruits of your labor, as well as get feedback from others as you work. I think these guidelines will help keep all the awesome projects you guys dream up contained while they're coming together and get them the attention they deserve when they're done!

    STANDARD RULES APPLY

Most things that need to be covered have already been covered in the general fora rules and art forum rules. READ THEM. You will not be let off the hook if you are in violation of the rules because we don't have them all spelled out for you in this thread.

    WHAT BELONGS HERE

    Collaborations:
Anything you wish to work together with other forumers on that is art related, be it literary, visual, musical, performance, or interactive.

    Game Modifications:
Skinning, visual/musical/audio alterations, custom modeling—anything that starts with an existing game that you don't build from scratch. Just remember that these games must be acquired legally, or at the very least not indicated otherwise.

    Incomplete Teams:
Got artists, but missing a programmer? Got a game in the works but need music? Got a writer but need an artist? This is where to go to try to fill in the gaps.

    Original AND Fan Works:
Your project does not have to be MSPA related! Anything goes so long as the content adheres to forum rules.

    Community Activities:
Activity threads are now a part of the Group Projects line-up! Anything that isn't a cohesive project that you still want mass participation in--such as "Draw the Above Poster's Drawing in Your Own Style" or "Close Your Eyes, Open Paint, and Draw a Nepeta." The Image Manipulation thread now belongs here as well! Hooray!

    WHAT DOES NOT BELONG HERE

    Independent Projects:
You are allowed to maintain a personal thread in the Art Forum proper, which you should use for all the stuff you do by yourself outside of fanart/fanfics. If you already have a thread in the AF and want to call attention to a new project, just change the title of your thread!

    Off-Topic Threads:
This is still part of the art forum, so all projects must be art-related and not discussion-oriented. The term "art" encompasses visual, musical, and written forms, so you've got a lot of wiggle room here.

CROSS-POSTING TO THE ART FORUM PROPER

    Allowed
-The posting of project assets-in-progress in the Doodle thread for feedback.
-The posting of project assets in one's own personal thread.
-The creation of threads for finished projects.

    Not Allowed
-The posting of project assets in the fan art threads.
-The creation of a thread in the specifically to showcase one's project assets.
-The creation of threads to advertise or promote projects.

This is a new thing we're trying here, so please feel free to PM me with suggestions or concerns!

Adjusted the rules to accommodate for the addition of Activity and Image Manip threads to the subforum.
