It seems likely to me that Feferi would be immune to even the vastest of vast glubs, since she is the only one to share blood with the creature. Presumably the lusus is immune to her own glubs as well.

It's possible that Feferi and the troll empress way out in space somewhere would be the only two survivors of such a glub.

Guys, there's logically no way Sollux could have been killed from the Glub.

Bicyclopsprite is in it's ghost form rather than kernel form, which means that they are in the Medium. The client has to be alive to enter the Medium.

My guess is that his prepunched card had a jar of Cruxite Honey in it, which would have different effects from mind honey. Although it still seems to be highly unpleasant.

Thats assuming that the glub kills instantly, take away that assumption and it fits together;

The glub happens, any troll outside the medium starts to die (Feferi and Sollux, Sollux more quickly) Sollux struggles though the psychic pressure and saves Feferi (hence being called a hero) and dies just as he enters the medium.

Whats more tragic for me is the countless (thousands? millions?) of Trolls killed elsewhere, even in space.

EDIT: even if Feferi is immune Sollux still saved her from you know, the end of the world.

it might just be that-since sollux is especially vulnerable to psychic trauma (a2 iindiicated by the con2tant phy2iical paiin he endure2 due two hii2 crazy mutant braiin), he (and many other trolls that aren't characters in the story) succumbed to some form of glub (once again, assuming that feferi's lusus let loose a dying glub).

Feferi is the only violet blood! It said so in her introduction! The empress is most likely indigo blood like Eridan.
Of course, empress as the thirteenth troll or the rack of the Felt (because she has a rack (incredibly lame pun)) would be pretty cool.
