Art Requests, Jobs, and Offerings - READ FIRST POST BEFORE PROCEEDING

This is now the dedicated thread to ask for art, be it visual, written, or musical, pro bono or paid*. It is also the place to offer to take requests and hone your drawing skills! BUT FIRST, some ground rules:

Do not abuse this thread.
Joke requests (especially those purporting to offer monetary compensation), trolling, and negligence to follow the above rules will be punished accordingly. If this thread shows any sign of going down the shitter, it will be locked and art requests of all kinds—with the exception of standard group projects—will be banned. This thread is a gift, treat it accordingly. Edit: We have already had one incident of bad judgment and we're not even past the first page yet. Think especially hard before you post, kiddos. This is your final warning.

Requests must abide by forum rules.
Duh. But just in case you're an idiot, that means no asking for porn, pedo, or excessive gore/violence, nor engaging in behavior that is otherwise against the rules.

Posting a request does not obligate anyone to take it.
This rule should be self-explanatory. If someone does not pick up your request, deal with it. You will have the opportunity to call attention to it again later, but there will be absolutely no complaining about seemingly ignored requests, especially if they do not include compensation. This applies to those offering to take requests as well—just because you're offering doesn't mean anyone has to take you up on it. That being said...

Requests may be revived once per month.
If someone hasn't picked up your request and you are still really wanting to see your idea come to life, you may re-post it after one full month has passed with REQUEST RE-POST at the top.

Offers to take requests may be done once per day.
If you're looking to take requests, do not spam up the thread every other post reminding people you're available. If you're really dying to do something, pick up an open request.

*Negotiations for paid projects must be done off-board.
In the event that a request is for pay, all correspondence regarding it must be done privately. This includes offers to take the job, inquiries for elaboration on the request/project, and so on. Correspondence via PM is acceptable, but e-mail or instant messenger would be preferable. It is up to the job poster to provide the appropriate contact information.

I am very easy on the art forum in general, but I will hand out infractions if any of the above rules are broken. Not having read them is not an excuse.

I don't really like the trollsona thing, honestly. I have an eternal dislike for actually typing using a troll quirk for some reason, and passing oneself off as a member of another civilization just seems cheap.

...Or you could use my exile-self, which is also in the avatar thread and is my current avatar until I make another sprite edit.

I usually switch avatars a lot; at least I used to. I've kept with the one Clorin made me for a long time now (cuz it is prety damn snazzy) but I've been itching a bit to switch my avatar again. My computer exploded (almost literally) two weeks ago and I lost about two months worth of avatars I had made. Luckily (or maybe not) I hadn't made many in those two months. One of the ones I know I did lose (though i could find it again if I looked in the avatar thread in gen chat forum) was the Jade-Lotus I had made. While the design was satisfactory enough, it still wasn't quite all that great. Would anyone care to mess around and make a Jade Lotus?

Alright so, here are a couple 'assets' in the lotus-avatar bag.

Emblem (I got lazy about a year ago and just tossed the center in most designs. Using the emblem makes things easier and I can put a nifty little design in it too):


Example (Rose-Lotus):

Notice that the emblem is there and colored gold with a bright purple center. The edge of the leaves are black where as the veins are gray. I used Rose's eyes/lips for the facial features and stuck in a squiddle design I made in the center of the emblem.

And the generic example (I guess the eye-patch one is more the generic now though, eh?):


And if anyone is interested and wants something I didn't include here, just ask! I have all this stuff in a file with multiple layers so I can grab almost anything you've seen on one of my avatars before.

I would like a Jade Lotus avatar (with assets or made anew) but I really just want a new avatar. Feels weird not to change my avatar every week. I will promise to wear any avatar made for more than a week though if anyone feels like taking up this request!

Is it okay if I make a request? I feel so selfish making requests, like I'm commanding people. I'll have to redeem my soul by saying I'm up for any written requests anyone has, but I really badly can not draw. If you want a badly badly badly drawn something, I can do that too.

Um, My request is for a troll version of me, basically. I'd like my symbol to be a blue anarchy symbol and my horns to be mostly like Terezi's.
