Previous thread!

Man, don't you wish you could keep track of all these fanmade troll characters popping up everywhere? Of course you do. We all do. Which is why I took it upon myself to put together an up-to-date fantroll index, with info on all the fantrolls! All fantrolls are welcome here, so don't be afraid to have yours added to the list! 8D It seems that RPing is the hip and cool thing to do here, so it'd be super awesome if you stuck around to join in the fun! (But you don't have to! Don't be afraid to post your trolls here if you don't want to roleplay, we want to see them!!)

Additions to the Trollslum should include at least most of the following information:
- trolltag
- text/blood colour
- typing quirk
- reference picture
- personality and interests
- shirt symbol, weapon, lusus and other similar details

Post here with your troll info, and get to finding a session to join! Feel free to post any fantroll fanart here, too.

Also, please don't spoiler new profiles! There's a good chance I'll miss them if you do.

A note on categorisation:

Someone mentioned this in the last thread, I think, but the blood categories should really be kept to the same ROYGBIV-esque system that the canon trolls use.

The MSPA wiki lists it like this:
Violet (royal, kind of a very special case I think) -> Purple (aquatic) -> Indigo -> Blue -> Jade green (also a special case) -> Green -> Yellow -> Orange/Red.
So just stick it in whichever category you think is closest.

I think I have plenty at the moment, especially considering Rizza's session is in full swing, Vanadi's is about to get started, and I have the two others... but I get the urge to make characters all the time, so who even knows when they will pop up.

Personally, I'm a little confused about exactly how the comic itself names the categories (I could have sworn Gamzee was still in the same technical broader category as violets because I thought Equius said he was the highest caste, just at the lower end of that, which is how a lot of people view indigo vs. violet IRL but I don't know xD) and probably wouldn't separate out purple and violet, nor jade green and green, but that's just my opinion. Going with the MSPA wiki's system would work. We'd still probably need an "other" though since I know at least some trolls have B/W/G etc.

I don't think Equius ever said he was the highest caste, just that he was a high caste.

Jade green is separate because it's a very rare case, if I recall correctly. As is violet for the royals, which I'm pretty sure there's only supposed to be like one of at a time.

Indigo vs. purple is kind of a trickier case, though. Basically I guess purple means aquatic. Gamzee is indigo, and he doesn't seem to be an aquatic troll.

True. I suppose it would also be good to keep things standard. Has someone started adding blood categories already?

Also, in general, do fantroll players consider pink a different category? It doesn't appear in canon at all of course, but I have to say, technically true pink is merely a tint of red (and other shades considered pink fall within violet territory). But if enough people actually consider it something else, should we have a pink category?

Blood categories are already up, at least mostly. I don't think all the trolls on the wiki have been categorised yet though.
You raise a good question about pink, though. Hmmmmmmm.

Same goes with brown being a shade of orange, yellow, or red, but that one's place is made fairly clear by Tavros. Pink is a bit tougher... I suppose we should wait and see if anyone with a pink character wants to weigh in on the matter. xD

Hi,

I haven't actually posted here before, but my coplayers in the GNUrb session suggested I show this here. The short explanation is we decided to add an opposite troll session to our forapocalypse session (just 'cos), and these are them.

They're themed around the 8 current solar planets and frequently their eponymous mythological figure. I'll let the others post their own trolls and info if they want. The one I run is in the Sniper position, gallantAphrodite, and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the [S] update I made for her.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention they broke their Skaia by accident.

I wonder, if purple is the highest caste and red is the lowest, then where does that place hot pink? (perfect combo of FF0000 and FF00FF)

I get the feeling that troll blood in canon doesn't actually come in a pink variety, and such trolls would probably be classed as mutants like Karkat.

Naturally we're just going to screw canon unless all the pink-bloods here are fine being mutants.

Oh, hey, regarding pink blooded trolls, one of ours is (on the far right as the Medic), but he was created after the hemospectrum had been revealed, so he deliberately wrote the character as a [self-made] mutant.
