well you seem to have got the resolutions off a bit (they're both 1280x768 but my monitors are 1280x800 and 1024x768 respectively) so they don't match up perfectly, but you can't really tell until you take a screenshot. Looks pretty good anyway, so thanks!

    Wallpaper is http://fav.me/d2s9ir0
    Firefox persona is http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/persona/189609

Icons from top down are Firefox, Pesterchum, Trillian, and the last two bring up the Spirograph Screensaver and start playing Suburban Jungle. ;3

Also, since I use Run for things, I have an "hsmusic" command that starts up VLC playing every Homestuck-related song I have on shuffle. x)

Finally I should mention that even though the screenshot shows an Ubuntu logo, it's really Windows Vista.

    !_!

Do you have a Trollian icon laying around somewhere, or is the one in your sig the best one around?

It's important because I've been looking for one since Pesterchum is going to have a Trollian mode!

I know this isn't the place to ask, but does that mean that memos will be incorporated? (minus the weird time shit, of course)

This: http://miff.furopolis.org/misc/mspa/trollian.ico is what I used on my desktop, but it's not a very good quality one. I just cropped it from this image to get a 48x48 icon, then just did a poor scaling job.

Huh... that's cool then, that thing's not hard to remake in Photoshop.

Those... are pretty damn sweet. I have the midnight one on Chrome.

Recently, I've actually been filling those Dope Rhymes and Ill Beats Folders, so three claps for me. They're not just there to look cool.

Eh, it's not hard to do, you just sort of have to fool around with it. Do you have the theme in the Media Players Skins folder?

Also: How do you take a Chrome Theme and save it as a crx? I have this Hephaestus theme sitting here.

If you download it as a .zip from my dA page, simply unzip it.

Here's a desktop background I posted over in the fan art thread, but seems more appropriate for here:

@grimlive You just drag the chrome theme into your browser and it works.

I'm asking about the opposite... gettting a theme from Chrome. I have it installed but I don't have a .crx saved anywhere. I've never made one.

Seeing all these desktop wallpapers is making me unhappy because Windows 7 Starter is so dumb you can't change your desktop wallpaper

That sounded so ridiculous that I had to Google it to see if it was true. And I'm surprised, but it is.

However, upon Googling it I found this, which might help you.

There's a program for it or something. I used it, it's awesome. Google "Windows 7 Start Screen Changer".

You know what? We need a Sburb theme for Windows 7 to match the awesome cursors, start buttons, etc, people have been cranking out. Whoever did that would be amazing.

I made a bunch of icons later for the human users minus Jade (I got busy/bored) for both the Mac and PC sides. Linux I think can use PC style or something. They can be found in this post.

    Re: MSPA-ifying your computer.

Linux uses .png and .svg for icons, just render to a .png and we're good.

I'd be willing to put together a fully-installable theme expansion pack for GNOME if you use .svg for them, though.

I happen to think it would be extremely excellent if someone with enough disposable income invested in a netbook, promptly ripped out its guts, and stuffed them into a Bill/Bing Cosby/Crosby case.

    Re: MSPA-ifying your computer.

This is a thought dump from IRC:

The Sburb loading screen would make a kickass boot splash (with music? gosh that would be dramatic).
Bed Of Roses would make a very apt shutdown sound.

I'm sure a neat sound theme in general could be put together from various sources.

    Re: MSPA-ifying your computer.

I'm dumping together a sound theme, I'll put it up and we'll see what happens.

Just need a good "alert" sound, I think. Will go looking.
