And I say it is a small cape.
But really, I like how it has appeared in all of your drawings and the important thing is that John is back and he eventually gets a blue outfit to match his blue everything else.

Heh, hello everyone; you're all as tightknit and supportive and amazing as you always were. I used to be pretty active here, but the forum moves too fast now.
Only posted this because I thought people might appreciate seeing it; I doubt I'll be returning, so don't go out of your way to comment. (I get the feeling I made John's face terrifying anyway, heh.)

I never comment on the art anymore. I'm so busy all the time I just look at it and enjoy it in my own little private world of enjoyment. I'm not nearly as thoughtful as CeeJay at this stuff. Damn, I used to be so much more active in coming up with ideas and commenting. That being said; I love you all and the work you do still. I have sincerely enjoyed the past month of fan-art even if I don't comment on it much anymore..

I do see John's new outfit as having a scarf but maybe it is a cape. Regardless, it's awesome. Love the pics drawn of him in it so far.

Jeremy Irons WOULD be an amazing voice for Jack in a Homestuck movie... but I feel like he should be a little more gravelly. Jeremy Irons has a subtle manipulator's voice, perfect for Scar or Lord Vetinari... but Jack is more of a brute-force kind of guy. A very direct tyrant who doesn't bother manipulating people when he can use more direct fear.

Who voiced Shere Khan? That'd probably be a good voice for him. Or the villain from Mulan.

Thanks vurreh much :3 I kind of cant tell ever if Vriska's hair is wavy, scene-ish or just messy, so I ade it a combination of the latter two.. haha! I really liked her hands since usually when I draw hands it's like the shittiest part of the drawing...

Hahaha, I definitely see influences from Faye in Vriska's face, and Kanaya has a little bit of Hanners/Dora. I think it's in the mouths, and maybe a bit in the hair-- and that's fine, because I've really been diggin' the way Jeph draws mouths and facial expressions lately.

yeah, Im usually a traditionl media type of person but I havent had a scanner in ages so my markers lie sadly in their case :<
I've found that his style is a little easier to draw when all I have is a tablet so I guess my tablet art has evolved into that, haha. also since I feel bad posting in this forum without posting art or comments on someone elses art, here's a crappy appeasement image

She's a complex character, and a tough nut to crack-- this is like... the front she puts up, I think. Trying to look evil and tough so she won't reveal that she's insecure and feels weak.

Iunno. people who dont know me really well seem to think I'm a huuuuuge bitch (lol) but really I've just got a hard shell from being insecure as a kid and sometimes people just have to get past it to get to the real me.
