Is it a good time to mention that inspiration struck really, really quickly and I'm already finished?
Whaaaat?
that's pretty amazing i tell you what.
if you do have the time however, could you take something like this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOFSdv6js30
(upbeat, adventure-y)
and kind of make it match a more machine-like theme, for my thread forger?
i was thinking of learning flash and doing an update in it.

ADVENTURES:
Start with a slideshow-ish update in MovieMaker, I'd advise. Then begin by moving the pictures to match the music, and only then would I say to take up Flash. Mostly because it takes a hell of a long time to learn Flash.
That said, the song in question remains up for grabs if anyone wishes to do it! I just did one not an hour ago!
The song turned out fantastic, I am extremely grateful.
I'd quite like one for an RP I'm currently taking part in, The GNUrb session, which you may/may not have heard of.
Anyway, I'm requesting a song for an animation I'm currently stalling storyboarding.
I'll send you a PM with the basic premise of the animation, because I don't want to spoil any story for the other guys in the thread :3
Thanks
Dalm!
it's all good. i've nothing but time on my hands.

ADVENTURES:
Greetings all you fine MSPA musicians! My friends and I are starting on a rather ambitious fan adventure soon, and it STARTS with a flash. Only problem is, we don't have a musician nor music. Once the flash is finished, we're totally up for sharing it. What we are hoping for is a main theme, and some eventual variations (strife, lovescenes, epic, endgame epic). Music theme should be jazz, almost Midnight Crew style. Any and all help is appreciated! Please post here or message me if you have advice/interest!
Hello Music masters... The humble little Dex here...
Im making a flash for my adventure Double Reacharound: Orange (A link of said adventure can be located in my signature,) and it will involve this person:
She is going to go be awesome.
So what im requesting is a chiptune, starting slowly but moving up to becoming rather action-like... This tune will also act as her own personal theme, and she is the first to get one. Dex, the main character is also going to gain one, but i will request something for that when time comes...
So to summarize, a chiptune theme for this female, that starts slow, but gets faster and more action the farther in. Doesnt have to be that long.
A song that is the theme to every Problem Sleuth-alike.
Hello music people!
I find myself in need of a piece of homestuck-esque music for an animation I'm working on. I've got a really rough animatic, and it looks like it's going to be around a minute to a minute ten seconds long, but I can stretch out or speed up things a bit as necessary. I need something a little creepy, but not particularly slow. If you bought the Alternia album, the Lemonsnout Turnabout is pretty close in feel to what I've been thinking. If anyone's interested send me a PM and I'll get you all the details and some reference images and stuff. After I get the animation done I'd be more than happy to do some art in exchange c:

For the MSPAFA Awards coming up, we're looking for musicians! We're looking for brief musical cues like in real deal big time awards shows, so we'd like some music contributors in addition to art contributors! PM the Awards Account for interest or questions. Send your offer to help out in a separate PM to your nominations if you can - it makes our lives easier. Useful information would be your time constraints, how much you'd like to/are able to do, what kind of music you'd like to make (as in for which award), and how specific you would like your task to be. If you don't know which awards you'd like to make cues for, then PM and we can assign you a few!
From the Formspring account:
If that's how you'd like to contribute, by all means send the account a PM with similar info to art volunteers - what kind of style you're most comfortable with, your time constraints over the next month or so, that kind of thing.
When the nominees are revealed, we'll get in touch with the kind of tracks we're looking for - theme music for the Intro, an energetic backing track for Best Combat, that kind of thing. Or you could put some tracks together and PM them beforehand, but then selection may be made based on whether any particular track fits with a presentation, and we couldn't guarantee inclusion in the Awards :v
If you want to just make some music and aren't too fussed about what we do with it, I'd probably wait until after the nominees have been announced (a month or so away, maybe? Don't quote me on that) and look at which adventures are in each category, and base your contribution around that.
But yeah. Awards music = awesome plan. Thanks for suggesting it, mystery formspringer!
Edit: After consulting Wheatthins, he said that he already had the idea to make some kind of opening theme; also, he'll be co-ordinating music work for this festival. If you're interested in working on music for this awards show, or if you have music made, PM the MSPAFAwards account. If you need any direction, want to know how you can help specifically, or have any questions for helping, Wheatthins will PM you back to work with you!

When requests are finished, I have one to lay on you.

This adventure is some sort of a Homestuck parallel, and as such, I humbly request that a piano-based theme be made for it. I ask you to develop what you can off of my post, but also that it it has a melancholy tone to it, and that it is somewhat church-y, like that of a hymn or a chorale.
Thank you for considering this.
Hello, first off, I think the whole concept of this thread is a fantastic idea!
Second, I'd like to request a music piece for my adventure Coreblight! What I'm looking for is something with a consistent hot desert tone, but with a hint of aliens and more of a "discovery" feel rather than an action-packed one. It really doesn't need to be an extremely short or long length, but anywhere around a full minute would be perfect. Here's a panel that has the main landscape so far in it, if it helps.
If whoever takes this request needs more specifics or references, feel free to drop me a PM. Thanks in advance to whoever takes this, I'd be willing to draw the taker whatever they want as a token of gratitude!
