You briefly consider the idea, but decide against it. You're not entirely sure if it even is a collar. You begin to suspect it may be an oddly specific sunburn. Why would someone shave your neck? Or has it been painted on? You cannot recall.

You attempt to gain some nutrients from the sand, but fail. Your Food, Drink, and Energy levels on you Satisgraphtion Chart gain +0 and remain at 1, 1, and 2 respectively.

Hmmm... You detect the distinct taste of ulexite. And is that a hint of borax?

You decide to mentally add this detail to your Recordecodicon.

You add the minerals, but feel as though you may have missed one, so you add a ? to mark it.

Huzzah! You've come accross a mysterious and nutrient-filled apple core buried beneath the sand. Come to papa!

Your Food and Energy levels on the Satisgraphtion Chart both gain +1, putting them at 2 and 3 respectively. Your Drink level gains +0 and remains at 1.

Pick a direction and start walking.

Using your newfound energy, you follow the seemingly disgruntled sun and boldly head WEST.

After a few feet, you come accross a television set. You wonder what it is doing in the middle of a desert.

Another colour: Make guest apperance in comic.

You turn on the TV hoping to find a program of interest. Sadly, the only show that is on is "Everybody Loves Graymond", featuring Gray Romano as the mentally deficit dad Gray Stattucini. You remember this episode; it's the one where Gray's wife yells at him. This wouldn’t happen if his mother would stop insulting his wife's cooking. If only the US hadn't switched to digital television; then you could watch actual reruns of actual shows on these shitty old rabbit-ears instead of pretending that static is a show. Wait a second...

You suddenly remember that you are in the United States of America! You don't know where in the US you are, but it's a start! Thank God that television didn't work. You then realize that if the television were a working one, you could have tuned into a local news broadcast and figured out exactly where you were and if people were looking for you. Suddenly your victory feels very hollow.

You overcome your renewed frustrations and add this detail to you recordecodicon.

Although you possess an extremely long neck, you don't think it is the ≈150 million kilometers in length necessary for you to reach the Sun. Plus it looks pretty damn pissed off about something. You think it is best to just ignore it and pray that doesn't take out its aggravations on you.

Even though you don't see any lofts around here, you decide to contort yourself so that you may take refuge under the table the shitty TV is on top of and play loft-based make-believe.
It sure is cramped in here for a loft!
However, you ignore this because you find the shade relieving after being in the hot blistering son for so long. You also find the rates for rental to be quite reasonable and decide to take up residence here for a little while.

It seems that you've made a good choice in living arrangements for the time being! You Energy level on the Satisgraphtion Chart increases by +1, putting it at 4. Your Food and Drink levels gain +0 and remain at 2 and 1 respectively.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm going for a sort of suck style (made in MS Paint, drawn using the mouse, ect.) with this one. Everything except for the "collar" is going to be filled incorrectly for shits and giggles.

You ponder eating your recordecodicon, but quickly realize that it is only an abstraction of the concept of memory used by this videogame's designer for the purpose of more easily representing what you, Greggory! The Giraffe, know to the players. You then wonder what all those words you thought just meant. You then wonder how you, as a giraffe, can be thinking all these things anyways.

Then the shitty TV explodes.
In other news, reruns of Everybody Loves Graymond have been replaced by episodes of Tyler Perry's Meet the Oranges on prime time lineup.

You think about how hungry you are, and how good some shitty plastic would have tasted right about now. Alas, the TV has exploded into tiny pieces. Oh well, it was a good thing you were under the table/in this loft when the TV exploded; it shielded you from the blast and protected you from damage. Unfortunately, despite your best efforts, you can't seem to get out from under this imaginary loft. Your imaginary landlord will be getting quite an imaginary earful from you tomorrow morning. If you haven't died a very real death by then....

In a fit of extreme sadness, you try to be the sun, but fail due to the sheer amount of anger extruded by it.
RAAAGE!!!

You are now some sort of lizard. You recently received an email saying that you would be payed the sum of handsome 50 Dollars if you went to this exact spot and found something. The email was very cagey and mysterious. You are looking for some sign of life. Any sign. Wait... What is that?

You spot an explosion. OH MY!

You sprint over to the area where you saw the explosion as quickly as possible.

Although nothing was damaged in the explosion, it seems this poor giraffe fellow is stuck under a table, or as he called it, a "loft". Maybe he inhaled some of the explosion fumes.

You decide to get this long-necked fellow out from under that table as soon as possible.
But first YOU GOTTA DIG THIS HOLE!

After your hole digging urges subside, you move the table over on top of it, freeing the giraffe from his four-legged prison. He thanks you for saving his life. He introduces himself as Gregory! The Giraffe. You briefly ponder how he can have an exclamation point in his name. You then realize you have not yet introduced yourself to this fine gentleman. You try to recall your name. What was your name again?



All righty then, go ahead and suggest names for Greggory!'s new lizard friend! I'll be back with the final choice sunday afternoon!

Now you remember, your name is Gregory. You lament to the fine Giraffe that your parents named you this. The similarly named Greggory! The Giraffe mentions that they couldn't have known that you two guys would have the same name.

You become understandably flustered that you have to explain that YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN to that LONG-NECKED PRICK OF A GIRAFFE. He apologizes profusely for his mistake, claiming he only assumed you were a man due to your name. He then says that he instantly noticed all of your feminine wiles, but thought it would be rude to assume that weren't just an extremely feminine beautiful man. You begrudgingly accept his apology. You then explain to him that you go by your middle name, Allana. He ponders aloud how lizards can even have middle names.

You shoot him a mean look until he shuts up.
