Oh, I was doing my own stab at the Dave/John/Karkat memo, but I see someone recently did one! I hope this doesn't come off as too redundant then. I tried to give a stab at it all with one take instead of recording separately and mixing, and doing all 3 voices myself, as a challenge. So, there are some mistakes/interruptions and some problems with switching, but yeah,t his was mostly a trial to see how I could do with switching voices on the fly and a sustained reading in which half hte lines are yelling. Any CC would be welcome!

@ Shiromisa: Your voice is really adorable! And you're really good at enunciating your words, which is awesome. But I don't think your Fef sounds as, uh, excited as she should, for lack of a better word. Here I feel like I'm listening to alive!Aradia, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it just doesn't feel quite as Fef-like to me. With Fef, I think you shouldn't be afraid to go over the top with her -EXCIT----ED-ness. Plus, at least I find that it's a lot easier to scale back once you've pushed yourself over the edge of embarrassment.

professorOak: One thing I'm noticing is that the breath you take right before you start voicing Karkat. It's pretty distracting, especially since you've done such a good job differentiating all their different voices and were super-consistent with them.

apatheticZombie: Thank you! ^^ It's good to know this ridiculous high-pitched bubbly voice is good for something. I want to try recording a couple more, so I'll work on that for next time. Preferably when I know everyone's going to be out of the house for a while--I was kind of on my toes that my family was going to come back and wonder why I was talking about killing land-dwellers and making fish puns! XD

Although, doing an Aradia log would be neat, too. Hm.

@apatheticZombie: Thanks for the honest crit! Yeah, I was having trouble keeping enough breath in me to do all of Karkat's lines when I had to do the other roles as well, so I did have a few breathing problems. Though listening to it, was this a constant thing, or just one or two things near the end? I notice one or two moments in the second half that are really bad, when I was nearly out of breath, but I don't hear much of it from the first parts.

I can see how that could be distracting. What would be the best way to prevent this? Just have a little bit more pauses in between lines? I also kept feeling like I'd lose my breath halfway through some of Karkat's longer sections. I'm glad you liked the actual voices and distinction though! Looks like it's just the breathing that needs to be worked on?

Also, listening to it myself, it sounds a lot faster than I thought. I should probably slow down on some of their lines, at least Dave's. Bluh bluh, more practice needed!

Started out with Jade. I never really liked Jade much in the comic (although, she gets props for having bass as her instrument), but voicing her was actually a lot of fun. So I did it again:
