What a neat little project! The animation totally doesn't need the extra sounds, that's the beauty of it, but fun to watch/listen to none the less!

    Spoiler'd for, well. Yeah.

Also, I've been trying to work out a Terezi voice and decided to put a little recording together. I had so much fun with the sound effects XD

Karkat: Put that huge douche in his place.

Yeah, I'm pretty much completely out of practice at this. Should be a lot tidier than it is, but wwhatevver. No disrespect to Octo or the other VAs, but Eridan's always been a pretty hardcore Brit in my head, and I summoned up the most obnoxious hipster-ish southerner accent I could muster. Karkat was pretty much just along for the ride, although voicing him was more fun than I was expecting. Hope it meets with approval (or advice. Advice would be good).

Figured I may as well post here...

I read Homestuck aloud to my little brother. Here are quick samples of some of the voices I use to do so!

A friend of mine thinks I make a really good Sollux, so I recorded this for her:

    http://www.zshare.net/audio/94953716ac616dee/

There's also a bit of Terezi. Please note that this was made late at night after practicing hard rock singing, so it's not so good.

If you have any requests, for longer takes of certain characters or whatever, please say so!

Hey there! I made an account because I really wanted to advertise this blog I started for the Homestuck Voice Acting community.

So far, all it's really for is helping out people who are starting out in the community, or people who just want critiques, but sometimes I showcase some voice work! Either way, I hope you guys enjoy and keep doing what you're doing.

This voice effect has surprisingly become appropriate. Heh. Bumping it because relevance to recent events. Or something.

    Or cake. Caaaaaaaake.

Hello. I fancied doing some voice acting, for no reason in particular, so I here goes:

It's awfully quiet, but damnit, I'm not going to re-record it all over again.

I just did a thing for a friend.

Jesus my voice hurts now. By the way, everything he says is sort of pre-empted by it being backed by a reversed track. Sort of.

So, my girlfriend and I were kinda just messing around with reading some of the old pesterlogs, and we liked one enough to submit it here. To be fair to her, she had NO idea how I was going to do this voice. This is done in one take; excuse any discrepancies. I was just being funny with the voice.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun doing it. Kanaya is mistaken for a male multiple times in the comic; I thought I'd go with a Dr. Girlfriend from Venture Brothers take on it. Of course, since my girlfriend had no idea how I was going to handle Kanaya, she had to try and stop laughing at the start.

Quite a number of things I have here I've done recently. Funny how I was part of the VA community till like June this year. I really should work on stuff again.

More of a Sound Design thing than a voice acting thing... At least I know I can cry at will...? I don't know.

Thanks to VeggieBLT for filling in as Eridan! Love ya, bro! I enjoy playing as Nepeta in situations where she isn't cheerful or happy (exceptions made where she's happy but psychotic at the same time). This one took the cake since I got to simulate me punching Eridan's Funny-Fishy-Fin-Face! Oh, yes! His oh-so-very punchable face...

Me doing some Improv Fighting Game Quotes as Nepeta. I actually hit myself in the gut several times to get a decent grunt out. Method Acting is quite fun.

This was mostly a run of me playing Vriska again. It's been awhile since I've done anything with her voice, so the way I express certain lines seem off (at least to me). Unfortunately, I didn't really have an Aradia to bounce off of so I had to voice Aradia myself. I never developed my Aradia into anything special so it's not surprising they sound the exact same.

Here's a recording of me doing Nepeta and Vriska. Though, due to how difficult it is for me to change my voice in a significant way even if I can portray completely different characters just due to the atmosphere they present alone, you can still tell they're very similar. I could never have Vriska and Nepeta in the same room...

Did the Jake/Bro log. As this was a first run-- and I'm quite short on time-- I fall into the voices better later in the recording.
Good news, though, I'm going to get a better (decent, at least) microphone soon.

My attempt at being Jake and Bro. Yes, I am aware my Bro sounds like my Dave. And yes, I do have a cold or something.

And this is me being Tavros. I've been told it sounds whiny.
