I had to go back and change the image in the spoiler, it was just a copy of the first image at first.

Anyway, Miff: I would almost say to just hand your artist friend the sprite and see what happens, with maybe a brief caveat of, "They're pretty much humans with gray skin and orange horns and I guess fangs." It's the Star Trek school of alien design.

If you want backgrounds or interests worked in, you can just explain the interests and maybe show them a few comics from Hivebound to give them a feel for the setting. Who knows, they might get hooked and have an interesting perspective on the series for having started there.

You prefer to spend your free time on more TRADITIONAL GAMES, like GRAPHEME PUZZLES or CORED REDFRUITS TO CORED REDFRUITS or TROLL ZELDA. You can be ABSOLUTELY RUTHLESS in these types of games sometimes, but it is ALL MEANT IN GOOD FUN, and you RARELY IF EVER NEED TO ACTUALLY KILL ANYBODY. That part is KIND OF A DEAL-BREAKER FOR YOU.

You also spend a lot of time TRAVELING THE WORLD and schmoozing with royal trolls from all over. You're never in one place for long enough to get a committed relationship going.
