Let me explain a few things that need to be made clear.

Now to move on to what you've done wrong. The owners of this website, meaning Andrew and Betel, as well as me as the person listed as the technical administrator of the MSPAForums.com domain, AND the servers that the sites are hosted on, AND the What Pumpkin business entity are all located in the United States.

This means that we are bound to follow COPPA, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, which requires websites to gain verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information from children under 13.

This consent can be signed permission forms or credit card verification or things like that. As our staff here consists of about five people, we cannot handle that on top of everything else.

We did not just randomly decide to limit registration to 13 and up. We are complying with Federal Law to avoid fines by the FCC that could irreparably damage Andrew's livelihood.

If you admit to being under the age required by our regulations to post here, you will be banned. This goes whether or not you believe I care about actually enforcing the rules I helped create here.
