My battle shall be named Otaku Melee.
All entrants must be derivatives of your favorite anime characters.
bob I hope you like it when I'm forced to make Everyone's Favorite Cuddly Eldritch Horror The Organizer tear your dude's face off and usurp his battle.
When I suggested that this thread be made, that was one thing I included in the concept; obviously, it should be used sparingly, but due to a number of factors, I didn't get all the meddling I wanted out of Organizer. Sometimes round transitions aren't quite enough, and this thread should be able to supplement that.
Usurper buddies~The Composer would actually be quite flattered an old god like the Organizer followed in her footsteps.
Silliness aside, there's a few tenuous points and links I'd like to add in, myself. Still, gonna work them into the Battles best as I can beforehand before addending stuff here.
I think the Monitor would take a different approach to usurping a battle.
"I'll be deciding the locations from now on, you incompetent oaf. You'll just have to act as though they were your intended locations - unless, of course, you want your combatants to know you've lost control of the battle. No? I didn't think so."
Ok, on Grandmaster scheming in this thread:
After having given it some thought, and reading what others have said, I've decided that I'm ok with people posting Grandmaster stuff in this thread. However, I don't want this to become a Grandmaster Roleplay thread. All Grandmaster-related posts must be done with the same effort, planning, and collaboration between the writers of other Grandmasters as the snippets you all put in your round transitions do, and each post must involve more than just *your* Grandmaster (as this thread is all about inter-battle stuff, not intra-battle stuff).
I don't have any clear definition of the line between "Grandmaster scheming" and "Grandmaster roleplay", so I'll be expecting you all to use your own judgement as to what is appropriate and when it's becoming "too much", just as I will be using mine.
To keep each Grandmaster post from getting buried by other business, I will be linking to them in the first post, just like I have with everything else.
*Kzzt*
"Can anyone hear this? This is the Blank, replying to Mr. Reinhardt's trans-universal message. Sorry I am a bit late on the reply, I've only just managed to get a hold of proper technology. Things are a bit chaotic on my end, and I would really appreciate some help getting out of this 'game'. I'd love to explain my situation a bit more and learn some about these other 'games' but I'm a bit pressed for time so I'll have to end this reply here. If you need to contact me, just... any trans-universal message will do."

She made it very clear, just by opening her mouth to speak, that she was not a mere damsel, that she was a woman. And that she was a person above all.
She was what you would draw if someone asked you to draw a lady, but her bony cold hands were an old man's. Fists that were used to clenching.
I went home immediately after talking to her, and fell asleep soon after, concluding that if we were rain, I was drizzle and she was hurricane.
He puffed once, twice, from his cigar, and fluttered its ashes over the balcony railing. Still singeing, they danced around against the nightly cityscape.

Ok yes, I am glad you all have Grandmasters ready and prepared for Season 3 but I would like to keep the clutter to a minimum. If you want to post something about your Grandmaster in this thread, it had better be something you've already had him/her/it do in a Battle, or an interaction with another Grandmaster similar to Round Transitions.
This is borderline roleplay and something I'd like to avoid. That is, rapid-posting of little Grandmaster hype-posts. Even if they are in spoilers.
'Greetings, master Reinhardt. I thank you for this information. I was, until this moment, unaware of the existance of multiple battles.
I'm sorry to say that my methods of contact through the multiverse are limited. I spent several hours alone on working out a way of returning your call for aid. Nevertheless, if you are in need of another individual joining your case, I will be available.
Brian Perator, out.'
Slots for canon battles are all full. Anyone is free to start a non-canon, but this thread is canon-focused; try the stickied general Collab/RP thread if you want to talk about non-canons.
"Hello, Vandrel Reinhardt. I am Nalyg. I believe I will take you up on your offer, depending, of course, on what it entails from us. I believe my... 'associates' would be more than happy to oblige."
"Provided you have an ample supply of these "allies" and perhaps an actual strategy for taking on these Grandmasters, that is."
"Wonderful. Great. Excellent. The sooner we can kill these bastards, the better. There's one in particular who I would love to disembowel..."
"Kanpeki and Razaran, respectively. Contact us with further information when you have them."
Okay, I'll be perfectly honest. For someone who's supposed to be hosting a Battle, I've recently developed something of an aversion to large walls of text, and I honestly don't think I can properly host IA anymore. Seeing as how there's a decent number of people who wanted to host come S3, I was wondering if anyone would want to take over. I didn't really have any super-important plans for where to take the battle beyond a few little ideas of minimal consequence, so it should be okay if you just throw together whatever mythology you like and just sorta, take over.
I just finished reading through IA, if you don't mind I'd be glad to take your spot hosting, Draykon. Assuming no one objects, if you could PM me your ideas of minimal consequence, I'd like to keep the feel of it close to what you've already started.
In this post, Balance sets off an incredible shield to disrupt the four-dimensional location of the Grand Battles. Use this to your conniving as you please.
This is the reason the Phenomenal Fracas is jumping, which I stated in here

Oh, hey. We missed something.
In this post, the Controller receives a letter from the Wordsmith. I can also go and check the IA side of that mailing.
