So this is sorta an experiment. I've had this idea for a MSPA-style adventure for a while now, thought up a bunch of ideas and drew a bunch of concept art, but I kinda just lost interest and dropped it. Now that I'm pretty active on these forums, though, I've been inspired to actually try and make this happen.

Don't expect too much, though (especially if you know me from other projects)! I'm a pretty busy guy, so I'll be trying to make things simple and quick most of the time. This is a completely new type of drawing dealie for me, so art may be a little inconsistent for a while, and animations will probably be sparse and simple to begin with. Dunno how often I'll update, either; hopefully at least once a day, especially if I can keep the drawing simple and fast like I intend. :V

BUT ANYWAY, bluh bluh long foreword, onward we go! Let's see where this goes, if anywhere.

A young man of the feline variety has just returned home after a long day of working at the
LABS downtown. He is rather tired and exhausted from all the sciencing he did today, and he
wishes to enter his APARTMENT so he can kick back and relax for the night. However, before
we help him with that, we should take care of a thing or two first.

Let's start with this cat's name, shall we?

Those are all terrible, racist names, thinks our hero. Just because he is of the
feline species does not mean he has to have a moniker relating to fish or fluffiness
or cat noises!

He has a doctorate, for goodness sake! A doctorate in science... with a minor in
fish-plundering, he will admit.




But oh well! You work with what you've got, says me. So let's just pop in all the
suggestions into the Randomifier...




Ah! Well, that didn't turn out as bad as you thought it would. Don't get so worked up
right from the start, catguy!






Our protagonist's name is TOM DEFLUFF, although he prefers that people call him DOCTOR
because he worked very hard getting that DEGREE. No one ever seems to, though, most
likely due to him having gotten his DEGREE over the INTERNET. Tom leads a simple life,
living in his APARTMENT with his ROOMMATE and enjoying the finer things, such as
playing OLD VIDEO GAMES, surfing the INTERNET, and having a good FISH or two for a
snack. Tom also has a passion for research in QUANTUM PHYSICS, specifically the
possibility of PARALLEL UNIVERSES, hence his acquiring of a position as an INTERN
RESEARCHER at the JUMPCAT LABS downtown.

But we will learn more about our hero in due time. For now, let's see about getting
him into his APARTMENT.

unlock the door, which you retrieve from your INVENTORY.

Try opening it like a normal person.

That's the plan! You insert your APARTMENT KEY into the doorknob's lock and turn it,
successfully unlocking and opening the door.



Hm, strange. Sure is dark in here. You hope your ROOMMATE didn't forget to mail out the
electricity bill again.
