Even before we humans had cut down trees, and made them into awesome houses for hanging out and being cool, Birds lived in other tree houses called, nests.

Nothing super exciting in my hand for humorous funtimes so I'll go with

The Academy Awards are ancient, older than old. Perhaps only dust is older, and maybe not even then. Academy Awards are so old that in order to scientifically find out their exact age, Scientists will capture the wild and elusive Joan Rivers for study and biopsy. What they then proceed to do is tranquilize the specimen and start peeling back the layers growth that laymen like to call "cosmetics" or "make-up". Each layer represents approximately about a 100 years of Academy Award shows, and some specimens have been found with as many as 50 layers of these "cosmetics" with the oldest specimen having nearly 120 layers.

Besides these layers, information about the conditions of the world at around a specific era can be gathered from disfigurations that scientists are calling "plastic surgery". An in-depth analysis of these markings provides clues to the past as well as warnings to the future. Some layers have found increased levels of garlic, suggesting that Vampires were once a problem. Some layers have the slippery, almost runny look to them, similar to an oil painting. This perhaps indicates a series of particularly bad Oil Spills. Volcanic ash and sand thought to have originated from volcanoes and The Beach in Hawaii seem to indicate that massive eruptions, that were previously undocumented, ejected large amounts of sand into the atmosphere at one point. A layer of dirt and powder seems to indicate the time of the Great Wars. Oddly enough, the powder seems to be that used in Handguns. Finally, and most sadly, some 'markings' are little more than Amputations that seemed to indicate violent and turbulent times.

It is for these reasons that I say Academy Awards, one of the crucial spawning grounds and habitats for the majestic Joan Rivers, is perhaps the oldest and most ancient things known to modern man.
