I think the thread will get more traffic and requests if it stays in this forum. I vote against a change.

I was wondering if I could get one of the cool looking sky bits (nothing too particular, just some of those nice looking clouds) from the EOA6I1 as a vectorized background.

They're all pretty big and wallpaper-sized anyway:

Ah, you're the first to notice my changes to the filestructure inside my Dropbox. Bottom line is that the EoA6I1 stuff has been moved to a new folder - they now belong to /Homestuck/EoA6I1/ rather than just /Homestuck/. The filepaths in the post in which they were originally posted have been changed to reflect this. Their entires in the catalog might need revising, if they've been entered.

Sorry about the fuss, but the large number of rasters kicking around necessitated a re-organisation.

Can I have a raster for Dirk in EOA6I1?

I wanted to do that, but unfortunately his arm is nowhere to be found when you crack open the .swf file. If someone else finds it with an alternative program, I would be grateful to have Dirk's hand.

God it's weird to finally have his name. I was going for Dick Strider.

For some reason his forearm and hand are two separate images. (FlashDigger says the arm's ID is 164 and the hand's is 163, I don't know if other extraction programs label them the same).
It took some cutting, pasting and counting pixels, but I think I've combined the images in the same way as the Flash did.
Here's Dirk separately (on a transparent background, so he may be hard to see):

I've also placed him on various backgrounds from the flash, the results are in a spoiler because they're pretty big:

Finally, I tried my hand at vectorizing the square picture, and you can see the result by clicking on this sentence. Nimblejack can probably do better though.

Thanks for that - Dirk's arm is a separate resource because it and his body are tweened independently to give the illusion of depth.
Your trace of the square version is pretty good, so I'll leave off on doing one myself.

I started using your Greasemonkey script for Qwantz - it's pretty good. Thanks for making it.
Although it's a shame I can't read it due to the SOPA protest.

EDIT: We need more people to chime in on the thread movement vote started at the bottom of the previous page, as it's still something that has not been resolved yet. Drillgorg is still waiting AFAIK.

I don't know much about animation, so that sounds plausible to me.
And thanks Though I just noticed things like his glasses and his face don't have nice straight lines. Oh well, nobody's gonna use it at the full resolution anyway.

    Thanks again!
Looking at it again, the code could probably be a bit neater, but since I hadn't used JavaScript before I made it, I'm still kind of proud of it.

It's not really an art project, since we're not making new art, we're just blowing up Hussie's existing art.
So I guess it should go to 'Fan Projects'?

    Probably because of its screenshotness.

And the gradients, and the low-resolution areas, and the compression artefacts, and so on.
I'm afraid it just won't work.

EDIT: And with the new update, it appears that:

Having tube problems. Vectors and rasters due to appear from me within 24 hours.

Can you do this with, say, illustrator 7? Lol. The first one is complex because of the galaxy but the second one might be a little easier.
    There are amazing.

I'm not sure what you mean about Illustrator 7, but there's a vector of BecPM already available as well as a raster version of the blue universe exploding. Tracing the explosion would look messy and unpleasant, so I'll give the second screencap a go.

EDIT: All done. Sorry about the wait.

EDIT 2: Oh, shit. I actually forgot about the interesting stuff from the recent flash. Here it is. Not much, really.

Remember to ask if there's something I've neglected to post, either raster or vector. My strange sensibilities are not for all tastes, and I realise that you may want something I've passed over.

Hey, so I don't know if this has been done before, so I did it anyway! Here are the vectorized logos for Sgrub, and Sburb (Alpha) if anyone wants them:

This is pretty good stuff, I like it!
Did you hand- or auto-trace? It's very clean and has nice, straight lines.

Also, welcome to the forums. I hope you like being a part of the fandom here.

I hand-made those two, since I personally feel that while auto-tracing usually works, you get better and prettier results by doing them manually. Thanks!

Re: Vectorized MSPA - Cascade wallpapers? We got them.

So anyway, in a fit of boredom I began vectorizing some of the god tier symbols (by hand!). Here are the ones I've done so far:

    TIME: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49048871/Time_Best.svg
    DOOM: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49048871/Doom_Best.svg
    BLOOD : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49048871/Blood_Best.svg
    HEART: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49048871/Heart_Best.svg
    MIND : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49048871/Mind_Best.svg
    VOID : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/49048871/Void_Best.svg

Please tell me what you think -- it's hard turning a roughly 100x100 pixel image into a vector, so I'm sure I made some mistakes!

Would anyone be willing to vectorize these two images of DD, if possible? I don't think either of them have been done yet.

    A pretty good job, again.
I don't know if you noticed, but I found a series of high-quality .png images that had been created by someone on Tumblr. I've added a colour background to some of them, but I got fed up with the way others had been formatted and left it.
    They're at:
