Maybe peeps can list what cons they are going to so it can make the rounds? For instance, I'm going to PAX East, but that's early April 2012, so maybe someone else later down the line is going too?

edit: subotan was only on the list twice because he wasnt sure where he'd be at the time it reaches the area, but the schedule sort of counts him as two entities

I think the USPS website can calculate how much shipping will be. Unless you're using a flat rate box, you'll have to weigh the box.

I'm gonna double post this so this thread doesn't disappear on me, sorry if this is one of your peeves.
I've been having difficulties with my eyes and stuff. A whole lot of medical blah blah. It's still not done but that's why I kind of disappeared here after my short lame last post.
I think the schedule that waterbottles suggested is good, so I'll go with that for this one. The next one I will do so as to not shirk duties that I probably should have to do in my position, but thank you so much for making one this time!

In any case, why not just see what cons peeps in this thread are going to, and try to get the coat to them when that con is happening? It would be hard if the coat was overseas, but for the most part, I think it could work.

I will actually start checking who is posting in the forums at all at a reliable pace, not just this thread, so its okay if you don't hang around here too often, as long as you stay online and reachable. I also am noticing at least one person on the list with a very very low post count, I'm talking like two posts. He is pretty much out of here, I don't know why i added him so wantonly

Well, two runs and I'll send it to Hussie. The con round is purely cons, photos and signatures, no patching or such, also the coat will hopefully travel significantly faster than it was even supposed to this time.
I wasn't going to make a list of who and when until the end of this one is in sight, as cons change dates each year as far as I've seen in my experience with them. IE: ACEN was may last year, but its April this year.
I was going to make a call for reliable people who will definitely be going to a con and would be interested in being lord English at that con, and those who sign up will need to give me a location (down to at least the city), the dates of the con, a contact phone number and email, and possibly proof that they will be going to a con (receipt for a badge/pass, history with cons, etc.)
They also have to promise to take pictures and prevent anyone from running off with it. sign up will preferably begin when the coat finishes its current lap, and sign up will preferably end when a new year is almost beginning (give or take).

That is not to say or imply that people can't take it to cons this run, its just that the next round will be made specifically so it makes it on time for each con. The current one is almost even based off of luck for those wishing to con it up.
Anyone in this one can play again if they wish, but I'm going to cap it at 45 next time, first come first serve (in terms of spots, the order will be chosen based off of time instead of distance as it was this time).

Although, I like your idea to ask about people interested in doing it (still) now.
It was popular when I asked first, is it still a good idea?
