For situations where explosives would not be convenient, you stick to an iceaxekind STRIFE SPECIBUS, as it's handy for climbing your mountainous abode anyway. If all else fails, you also keep a snowboardkind STRIFE SPECIBUS on you, since it's your favorite way of transportation around the peak your HIVE resides in, and you're always up for TEARING UP THE SLOPES. Maintaining a well-diversified STRIFE PORTFOLIO is always a smart decision, you think.

Being out in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE for basically your entire life, you've become exceptionally SELF-SUFFICIENT, but such a situation isn't exactly conducive to a well-balanced SOCIAL LIFE. While making a trek to the nearest populated area isn't unheard of for you, it's enough of a pain in the ass that you don't make it very often. Consequently, you don't seem to care much about the HEMOSPECTRUM, since you don't have to bother with it most of the time. Besides, your turquoise blood, while by no means bad, doesn't give you much to lord over anyway.

Well, then, I finally succumbed to the fantroll urges. Let's see... his name's pronounced 'si-burn sai-cheks'. 'Cyc' comes from cyclonite and 'hex' comes from hexogen, both alternate names for RDX, the main ingredient in C4. Sibern is from Siberia, as you could probably guess.... The explosives part came first, but I wanted more than just 'HAHA BIG-BOOM', and I needed to figure out a lusus, when I decided that a polar bear would be awesome, so I added the cold climate stuff... His symbol is based off the explosives hazard symbol, for obvious reasons and his horns are supposed to resemble a male bighorn sheep, for no other reason than I thought they'd be cool...The GRENACIDERS come from Grenadier + Genocide, but that was probably obvious... Lots of strife specibi in comparison to most, I know, but I felt that there were opportunities to use a lot of stuff that wouldn't get picked normally... If his quirk wasn't clear, he capitalizes B, O and M, and doubles the O - those being the letters of BOMB and BOOM, respectively.

Thoughts? Opinions? This is my first, so...

And no, it's NOT bases_v10. And it has all of jade's new outfits and other stuff that's not in v10.

on an unrelated topic, I've been thinking about ancestors.
I didn't make one yet cuz I'm still wondering about them. I mean, there were only 12 originally, right?
but of course they would have had a lot of descendants, right...?
I'm still not sure....
cuz if there were only the 12 to begin with, then Laasya [for example] would HAVE to be descended from the subjugglators, being indigo blooded. ultimately.
I've wondered if maybe there were actually 24, two of each color for the anscestors. it's just a theory. I know trolls can romance with any gender, but if it's for breeding purposes, wouldn't they have most likely wanted to breed hatchlings with someone of the same blood as their matesprit? but then again, they don't ever really meet or care about their hatchlings, huh?
I'm probably certain I've misunderstood something in this process. Just throwin this idea out there to see what others say so I can continue improving the backstory of my OC :3;;

I personally took it as each troll has their own specific ancestor. Just only the twelve mentioned are relevant to the plot of homestuck. But I don't know, was there something I missed that only says there are 12?

Edit: Or at least each letter has their own ancestor. So unless you have indigo blood AND the Capricorn symbol then you wouldn't HAVE to be descended from the Subjugglators.

I'd say it's not unthinkable that there might've been more than just the twelve ancestors around at the time. Feel free to make one up yourself.

They are not the ancestors of all trolls ever, just twelve trolls who were cloned with and have a special destiny relationship with the main cast trolls.

EDIT: The trolls have a cultural belief that everyone has an ancestor with whom they share such a relationship, but it's not the same ancestor for every troll of the same color--it's one each, or maybe even more than one in the long, long history of troll empire.

Her ancestor would have her same sign and blood color and so would probably be a subjugglator, though, just because that's what the indigo caste are/were. But you have a lot of freedom to decide what her ancestor did, given how much history those actions could fit into.

If there were only 12 ancestors it would mean that at some point the entire troll population was 12 people. That's not a very big empire. :P

It wouldn't shock me if that was the case, actually. Especially if Alternia was founded by Sburb winners who re-established their species like Kanaya planned to. But those twelve wouldn't be/aren't the twelve ancestors of the twelve canon trolls. They clearly live in a larger world than that.

The 24 trolls Karkat made aren't the only trolls of the whole species. Why would they be? Are the 8 humans that John made the only humans?

There are other trolls and thus by default other ancestors.
