I think not quite random, but intermittently where it feels naturally... the ones that are more gutteral already. I think it would get annoying to do it too often.

I saw a funny quote that tried to rend his accent phonetically, but I'm having trouble digging it up.

Hivestem is a very good idea, and I'm not putting it down. But it's very plottish. What I was invisioning was something much more casual. Just Trolls talking to other trolls in the same area, getting to know one another, with no major events affecting the simple fleshing out and socializing of characters.

I don't think Joreak is a bad choice. After all, there would be plenty of room for flirting in a place like that, wouldn't there?

As a side note, I believe Harmat would get along very well with him. Two card-loving trolls bro-ing it up would be pretty epic.
