Hey guys.
I'm worried that the troll I was working on before was too unoriginal so I'm trying to work on another one.
Unfortunately I don't have that much inspiration for the other one other than her personality, so should I just continue the unoriginal one or keep going with the one I'm now stuck on?

I personally don't like using pre-existing characters as a base sprite. it's weird to me, like it takes some originality out of your character. I dunno. everyone has their own way theys tand, sit, lean, etc.... so when I see someone with the same pose as vriska, I immediately imagine them to be a huge bitch because It hink of Vriska... @w@; i think that's just me, tho.~~~

it's not too terribly difficult to give pre-existing bases your own flair. i'd like to think that none of mine too closely resemble their bases(aside from nerita because gogdamn there are so many parallels between her:feferi and luctus:eridan that i almost feel bad about it). i find that it tends to help folks adhere to the actual style of the original alterniabound portraits, thereby being more easily recognizable as homestuck fan-characters.
