All this talk of the 'canon' blood colors and the hemospectrum...
What do we consider to be the limits, the breaks, to said spectrum? Those are probably bad descriptive words, though. What is held to be the rules for colors in between the ones we see on the palette on the last page? And I don't mean the bottom and top limits.
I'm asking merely out of curiosity; Should we consider the troll race's hemospectrum to be a rigid thing, with only certain colors and definite borders between each one, or should we think of it more as a continuous or smooth thing?
If I think of their blood as something akin to skin pigmentation, I imagine a smooth spectrum. If I think of it more like pigments for paint, it's the same.

Of course, it's all just what we feel like, as they're merely fan-characters, but it's something to think about.

The way I've RP'd him so far, Narwid considers it somewhere between a smooth and rigid spectrum. Everything is seperated into rigid "ranks" (red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, etc.) but within those ranks there are variations (reddish orange, yellowish orange, copperish orange), though that's mainly an excuse for him to claim superiority over other indigobloods for being slightly more purple than them.

I like to think that normal trolls can have any blood color whatsoever between "aradia red" and "feferi purple", any color at all; dull colors, bright colors, greyish shades, etc etc etc, with caste being defined as the "rigid" color (i.e. orange, purple, blue) your blood is closest to. Makes things nicer.

this is exactly the color scale that i follow. you can get more leverage in colors that way

I also kinda link the colors with temperature, since i automatically associate colors with that kind of stuff. (when you have a whole class on color fundamentals, it kinda sticks =_=;;;anyway))
I've associated the cooler colors (blue, purple) with the higher up on the caste and the warm colors (red, yellow) with the lower caste. then you have colors like green, that an be in-between, like yellow-green is warm but blue-green is cool. And in between every two colors is another color, so yeah... why am i rambling... bluh...
the only exception to my thought process would be Feferi, who seems to be the highest, although that color could be considered neutral like green as well, since you can have red-violet and blue-violet... bugh.
I can't help it, I guess.

I'm fairly sure Euphra would have problems with him trying to pull rank, considering Euphra thinks himself the grreatest and most imporrtant of all indigobloods indeed of all trrolls rregarrdless of blood
That said, I agree with this view of the hemospectrum.
