(The wide eye sells it, but I'm having a bit of trouble figuring the mouth out: Is she biting her lip? I'm guessing those wounds are self-inflicted, but not 100% sure. Self-inflicted wounds increase creepiness by at least a million percent.)

Oh, it's supposed to be like ripping she's ripping her face off but there's another one under it, so the outer skin is kind of half-covering the mouth? I'm not sure how to explain it. :/a
