You live atop the highest fucking mountain this side of Alternia. You cannot confirm the validity of this statement because it is incredibly difficult to traverse the sheer cliffs of the mountain top. Because of this, you have chosen to live a life of seclusion with your LUSUS, although he has an easy time getting where he needs to get, because he is goddamn Ibex. For some reason, he outright refuses to let you ride him. He also likes ramming into shit, especially into the side of your HIVE, which is an odd behavior, you must admit. Maybe he wants to come inside? No, of course not, he loves the outdoors.

This does not however deter you from actually trying to climb down the steep slopes of the mountain. You go on several scavenger hunts, looking for scraps and leftover supplies of deceased trolls who try to climb the mountain. Sometimes you wonder if your mountain is just a place for domestic waste disposal, though.

You have taken a liking of MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. You used to love being an ARTIST, but you have decided it is not a viable talent in this military-induced society. Anyway, before you BUILD a mech, you have to DESIGN it, right? You have a frustrating inability to bring things into FRUITION though. That is not to say that you haven't finished ANYTHING, it's just that it is a rarity. You usually end up throwing them down a cliff or smashing them, although they're usually not set to KILL mode. You DO practice combat with your trusty WRENCH, since it's the only thing you carry at ALL TIMES.

K HI HELLO YES. I had to address some very serious questions on the cultivation and appreciation of tea. Now that that's been taken care of...

So yes, this is Suisei. His influence comes from like a gajillion places simultaneously.

The name Suisei is Japanese for the planet Mercury. Chandi is Hindi for silver. I picked a Japanese name because I'm a bit of a Japanophile. I study the language and intend to live there. I picked a Hindi name because of India's famous teas and because Vriska's name is also Hindi.

Mercury is a straight reference to Suigintou from Rozen Maiden, plus the color is a small nod to Karkat (my second favorite character after Vriska). The symbol for Mercury gives him his horns (one of which again nods to Vriska, the second correlates to the left-side radical of my favorite Japanese kanji), and his profession (the staff and serpent symbol people associate with medicine derives from the god Mercury, plus all my characters are monks or healers or doctors for some reason).

His title "Minister of Gravity" came to me in a dream, as does his association as a derse dreamer (and I didn't think I had any right to argue that inspiration). As such, his role in the game is as an interpreter for fundamental interactions in the universe.

You could compare him to the characters associated with time and space, except instead of being a representative for conceptual time or physical space mediums, his ability deals with integrating forces (and his name plays a bit on the actual force of gravity, as well as the "gravity" of important actions and consequences). Like the other characters, this gives him an understanding of things which influence his attitude and behavior, which is usually pretty morose, duplicitious, and mercurial (erratic and volatile). I hope to explore this more in fanfic.

His skin is paler because of his blood and his handle is anemicAnesthetist. He types his B's as 13's (because he's the thirteenth troll, loooool) and he uses pound (#) signs for their weightiness. He also types very rapidly with only a few words per line. I might sneak in a memetic easter egg here and there too for anyone clever enough to notice.

The doctoring theme (plus being a creepy dick in the first place) supplies his Syringekind strife specibi. His fetch modus is the Bayesian Diagnostic modus and it selects items based on a probability of usefulness. On his timeline throughout the story it becomes more and more useless as things become more and more chaotic and unpredictable (this of course will have amusing and frustrating results).

I haven't yet finalized my choices for his planet, lusus, music, but yeahhhhh...
