They... they made a musical for Elite?
That is quite possibly the greatest thing I've read all week. Wonder if it was ever actually performed?
Been playing a lot more Xenoblade and this is probably one of the best battle themes in the game. It really has a different meaning depending on when you hear it, it's "run or die" music when you accidently aggro a level 80 enemy when you aren't even level 20, but when the levels are closer it's just epic battle music that pumps you up for a long fight.

I'm still impressed by the fact that they managed to make the main theme and Leitmotif of their game out of an older rccurring piece of music played backwards and I would never have known if someone hadn't told me
I have had the rough melody a couple bars of a song stuck in my head for the past couple of weeks, went through the collection trying to figure out which one it is because I’d like to have invented it but it’s simply not possible I did and it is driving me nuts and I have next to nothing to go on besides that it was instrumental and probably from the GBA or SNES (because while I think it’s droney, it doesn’t seem to have been FFT/FFTA/FFXII). I couldn’t even reproduce it and have other people try to recognize it arrrghhhh
On the bright side, I was reminded of the existence of these lovely tracks:
Secret of Mana
Star Ocean

Hnngh, Kirby's Dreamland. That brings back memories of me as a child playing on a handheld roughly the size of my head.
Also I love how creepy and weird Kirby can get. Example:
