Important realization! Andrew may need to be the Champion. If not him, then Tavros, because this is clearly a game at which he will be even better than Dave, sacrilegious as that may sound.

I was going to fix that exact same thing but then I forgot to!
Andrew in my mind is definitely prof X. I mean, sending kids out to accomplish your own dreams on a quest to:
-fight a criminal organization
-find HUNDREDS of different creatures
-catalogue them
-and fight 13 extremely tough individuals in a country spanning adventure is most obviously the purest form of trolling.
Also, I think tavros should be the protagonist while Dave is the rival and jade is the heroine. Jade has that kind and helpful feeling to her and would probably get along well with a tavros that didn't suffer from a chronic confidence problem. Make Dave a bit more of a douche and de-woobify tavros a bit and the would be perfect!

I had the idea a while back to name a bunch of Pokemon after the Trolls in Platinum & SoulSilver and even though most of my ideas have already been stated in this thread already (Besides Equius-Rampardos, Nepeta-Weavile, & Feferi-Empoleon, I believe), but I just have to say. I know the best Pokemon for Kanaya ever, Sceptile.

Sceptile are very protective of their environment and the Pokémon that live in it... Sceptile carefully and with loving care grows trees and plants. It regulates its body temperature by basking in sunlight.

Seriously

Also, look at Porygon-Z and tell me it isn't a Sollux Pokemon.

Her outfit is some sort of weird mix between her god-tier clothes, her regular clothes, and the clothes that pokemon rangers wear. Though Aradia would more likely be in the Ruin Maniac trainer class. There are a few other pokemon I'd have liked to include but I was wasting enough time on this as it is.

So, here's some gymleader suggestions.

Hysterical Dame- Uses pokemon that rely on uncontrolable rages in battle. Has no traps in her gym.

Mobster Kingpin- Uses slow but powerful pokemon that take forever to kill. His gym has a large amount of traps that constantly change per day.

Ace Dick- Melee-oriented pokemon, especially his Ludicolo and Emboar. Gym has horribly easy traps that even a 5 year old could solve.

Pickle Inspector- Exclusively uses psychic types. Has the most confusing gym, with loads of mirrors that disorient challengers.

Bro- Prefers fast and powerful pokemon. He doesn't have traps or trainers in his gym, he just fights you head-on.

I'll think of some more later, but I'm thinking Mindfang and Dualscar should be leaders.

Bro uses a single pokemon, the challenger gets 2 substitutions. He never actually wanted to be a gymleader but got roped into it by Professor Harley. The 'gym challenge' is that Bro is almost never at the gym. If you want that match you're going to have to find him.

(Even if that means walking up dozens of stairs to have rooftop battles...)

Yeah, Reshiram's the Dragon and Fire type. But it's a white dragon.

Well, by virtue of being a dragon, it fits with Terezi, by being white, it fits with Rose, and by being a Fire type it also fits with Dave.

EDIT: also, if I did it, it would turn out several times worse. And by several, I mean hundreds. I will post an attempt at a vriska edit of a beauty I was working on before I found out that gambler was a role.
