They made a promise, that no matter what, their descendent's would be forever linked, one way or another, so that should that doom return, they will be prepared to defeat it once more.

But that story is probably a load of lies and have no relevance to what is about to proceed!

Your name is Kaleb Cartwright, an odd name for an individual of your species as you generally don't have second names. However you were named by a human and it kinda, sorta stuck.

You are a Naxilus, but that was pretty obvious from the get go. You're kind of a loner and a bit stoic, y'know, like the majority of Naxilus are. It's generally the norm when your entire race is biologically immortal.

You were enjoying a walk in the desert, hoping that maybe something interesting happens while you walk, as it turns out, the desert can get pretty boring.

What do you do?

Oh, wait, it's also your 244th birthday today, but you kind of stopped caring after the first hundred or so.

Disregarding the fact that Kaleb has no knowledge on the advancement features of video games, let alone video games in general, you can't just magically grow your tail longer.

they're pretty docile when it comes to things that are not it's prey, it's probably come up to check on what is walking over its home. Shame, you were hoping to fight some giant terrifying monster or someting.

Yes. Well technically yes.

Kaleb orders you to not think about this too much as he's pretty sure his last one broke due to existential crisis.

You are sort of an amalgamation of Kaleb's subconscious and a bunch of trapped spirits. Your general purpose is to act as a second mind and for a little company.

The reagents required for your creation are quite pricey and...well lets say Kaleb went to some questionable sources to buy them at a cheaper price.

Again, Kaleb tells you not to think about it too much or you may explode.
