    What does "Put your avatar into rainbows" even mean? Put a rainbow effect over everything? Put your avatar into a rainbow and leave it there? I'm rather confused.

    Add spectrum at the background.
    Change outlines into gradients of spectra.
    Gradually rotate the "hue" option of each pixel across to make a rainbow effect.

    Any and all of these are "Put your avatar into rainbows"

    In fact... don't you think mine could use a little more rainbow? I don't think I have put it into enough rainbows

    e: I should also add more artifacts
    Any other way I can possibly make this more exquisite

    I wrote a quick and dirty java program that does the job:

    To use as a screensaver, rename the .exe to .scr and put it in system32. Open the screensaver settings and choose SeaOfPixels.
    To exit the screensaver, press escape.
